Federal judge dismisses Stormy Daniels' lawsuit against Trump over hush-money settlement

A federal judge on Thursday tossed out porn actress Stormy Daniels' lawsuit against President Donald Trump that sought to tear up a hush-money settlement about their alleged affair.

U.S. District Court Judge S. James Otero in Los Angeles said the suit was irrelevant after Trump and his former personal lawyer agreed not to penalize Daniels for violating a nondisclosure agreement she signed in exchange for a $130,000 payment.

Attorney Michael Cohen admitted in federal court he arranged the payment to silence Daniels and help Trump win the presidency. He pleaded guilty to campaign violations.

Trump has denied the alleged 2006 affair.

Mueller team: Flynn’s given us everything

Call this the shoe that didn’t drop. In a court filing late last night, the special counsel’s team filed a sentence recommendation regarding Michael Flynn, a supposed lynchpin of potential Russian collusion. Robert Mueller’s attorneys urged the federal judge to go easy on Flynn, thanks to his cooperation with their investigation, and claimed it was now “complete.”

That means we won’t be seeing any collusion theories connecting through the man once thought to be a prime suspect for it:

Special counsel Robert Mueller's highly anticipated report handed off to Department of Justice

Special counsel Robert Mueller's much-anticipated report – the product of nearly two years of investigation – was handed to the Justice Department for Attorney General Bill Barr’s review, and Congress has been notified of the transfer late Friday afternoon, according to a Justice Department spokeswoman.

According to federal regulations, the special counsel's final report should be "a confidential report explaining the prosecution or declination decisions reached by the Special Counsel."

Judge orders public release of what Michael Flynn said in call to Russian ambassador

A federal judge on Thursday ordered that prosecutors make public a transcript of a phone call that former national security adviser Michael Flynn tried hard to hide with a lie: his conversation with a Russian ambassador in late 2016.

U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan in Washington ordered the government also to provide a public transcript of a November 2017 voice mail involving Flynn. In that sensitive call, President Trump’s attorney left a message for Flynn’s attorney reminding him of the president’s fondness for Flynn at a time when Flynn was considering cooperating with federal investigators.

The transcripts, which the judge ordered be posted on a court website by May 31, would reveal conversations at the center of two major avenues of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. So far they have been disclosed to the public only in fragments in court filings and the Mueller report.

Roger Stone persecution....

Apparently Roger Stone's lawyers are requesting the (mythical) "Crowd Strike" report(s) on their investigation of the DNC severs which allegedly show "Russian Hacking" of those servers... The government response looks to me to be an admission that Crowd Strike did little investigation at all... and if they did find any evidence they did not show it to FBI or DOJ.

FBI were denied access, but Mueller and all accepted that "Muh Russians" hacked the DNC. No proof ever seen .. so no basis for any of the "Muh Russians hackers"... no basis for theMueller indictment of 12 Russian agents... no basis for the Intelligence report (claimed to be 17 agencies, when it was 3 in cahoots.. and only generalizations, not concrete claims) that Russians meddled in the election... It was all crap even if a DNC paid Company actually did an investigation... and it seems they did NOT do an investigation at all... at least they found nothing that was evidence presented in any report

It seems that Crowd Strike reports are NOT about evidence that there WAS a hack... but rather just BS about steps taken after DNC stuff was LEAKED to stop (Imaginary) Russian hacks going forward...
...information regarding what remediation steps CrowdStrike took to remove the Russian threat from the system and strengthen the DNC and DCCC computer systems against subsequent attacks is not relevant to these charges. And, in any case, the government does not need to prove at the defendant’s trial that the Russians hacked the DNC in order to prove the defendant made false statements, tampered with a witness, and obstructed justice into a congressional investigation regarding election interference.
