Thanks Rumpole, for the free movie link to 13 Hours. Finally watched it yesterday and learned A LOT from the movie and the little bit of reading/research I did afterwards. The acting was amazing, IMO.

Molly, I watched Phone Call From A Stranger! Twice!
Lots of unexpected turns. Loved it!

I found one called Has Anyone Seen My Gal - Full Movie at you tube.
James Dean made his first movie appearance in it. It is an excellent comedy starring James Coburn.

It is easy to find. I would post it but I can't. I have a friend that is coming here this weekend that is going to teach me these things, so I won't be trouble! I want to stay.

I have a VHR setup so I can play the old tapes. Hopefully my thousands of dollars in VHS tapes and boxed collections nets my son some money on EBAY some day.

Thanks for telling me you watched Phone Call From a Stranger and liked it. My husband said it is a "chick-flick" .. I don't think so at all.

I watched Has Anyone Seen My Gal today (easily found on YouTube) and loved it -- lots of truth to it! Would make a great Christmas Eve movie. Thanks for the suggestion.

Nick Ferrari In Fiery Row With Campaigner Over Calls To Ban “Racist” Zulu Film

Nick Ferrari became embroiled in a heated row with a campaigner over calls for a charity screening of the film Zulu to be scrapped because it’s “racist”.

The Michael Caine classic is being shown at Folkestone’s Silver Screen Cinema in Kent on Saturday to raise money for armed forces charity SSAFA.

But, 28 people have signed an open letter calling for the event to be axed.

Writing to the town’s Mayor, campaigners said: “We wholeheartedly support the efforts being made to raise funds for SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity.

“But we believe that the choice of the film Zulu, with its inaccurate portrayal of historical events and its distortions and racist overtones, could have a negative effect on relationships within the changing and richly diverse communities here in Folkestone.”

I have been a "Godfather fan" since I saw the first movie (then the second) (in the 70's) and later bought "Godfather: The Epic" on VHS.
That combined I and II in chronological order plus over an hour of extra footage omitted in the Theater release edit of I and II. I watched the epic a million times
And I read the book by Mario Puzo.. and a couple of his other books... helped fill in some details.

Godfather III a little disappointing... but I am not as down on it as many critics (still a great movie IMO)... I was most disappointed in the character of Michael... he had "lost his edge" (killer but justified) and to me did not even look the same as the younger Michael, despite being played by Al Pacino in all 3 movies.

I did also watch the Trilogy online (and posted some links).


As far as the "Reunion" links I posted above... I could not get through watching it all... all the actors (except Duval?) SPOIL the memory of the characters as they were portrayed 45 years prior... James Caan is a buffoon these days..... as is De Niro (daft Never-trumper leftist Al Pacino is OKish.... but he had a quantum change after his early movies (GF 1 and 2, Serpico, Dog Day afternoon)... that is why I could not get into him in GF 3
Francis Ford Coppola did not come across great either... but I can make allowances.
