Twice now, there has been a "police motorcade" with lights and sirens racing down east to west, ahead of the street they are approaching, walking south.

Police cars, unmarked cars, vans, then ambulance at the end. First time I would say about 15-20 vehicles. Second time Z said three dozen! LOL There were about 20-25 at the most, more than first time. These motorcades really bothered Z.

I've never seen anything like it.

What is happening is, police are blocking and rerouting traffic ahead of them, so the protesters are walking in empty streets, NOT blocking traffic.

It's a bike-off.....

Z went down to look at the officers doing traffic control around the stadium, keeping the demonstrators from advancing. He is questioning WHY the County (officers) are in the City. He's also eavesdropping on their radios. lol

Z says that his message to them made them realize they do NOT have jurisdiction in the City - so they all went back to their cars.

You can't make this stuff up!

Yes, he is done.
They say they'll be back tomorrow, Z also, but this movement is fizzling out, imo.
A win for police again, I liked their strategy tonight. Finally something that worked.

As I recall "activist groups" throughout my lifetime.... I do not recall them announcing a "Rest Day"

They generally at least PRETEND to be engaged in a "tireless struggle"

I think it's a game, I think it's a joke!

This of course demonstrates that this whole St Louis thing has been a Street Party, rather than a genuine "fight against oppression"!!


Having said all that... these kids might well use the DAY OFF to tidy themselves up... have a good wash and comb their hair. Some may wish to get a haircut... lets hope that they can find businesses open, not "closed due to brainless vandalism"
