Twitter joke took five years to pull off — but totally worth it for Rocky Horror fans May 14, 2014 1:57PM
IT was a joke so stunningly simple in its execution that it’s a surprise no-one’s done it before.
The only catch? The jokester needs an awful lot of patience.
In May 2009, Twitter user ‘Frank Furter’ started a joke that wouldn’t get the whole world laughing for another five years.
In keeping with their username, Frank Furter’s first three tweets were lyrics from 1975 film The Rocky Horror Show’s classic song, Sweet Transvestite, delivered by Dr Frank N’ Furter (Tim Curry).
...and then, nothing. The account lay dormant since that last tweet on May 8, 2009 — until a few days ago, exactly five years on from the original tweets:
AAAAAH that’s better. Well played, Frank Furter, whoever you are — that last tweet has since been retweeted more than 32,000 times.

It amused me..... I happened across it at a forum where I used to post (mainly games), but have not for several years... so I steamed in an thanked the guy who posted it.. and compared it to the anticipation at that forum waiting for my next post
