Carm... report to my office and explain your State's voting

Short answer is that there is a lot of old GOP money in WI. I live in one of the most conservative counties in the state and we voted something like 61 % for the one who fantasizes about copulating with a rat

.
Something that it is difficult for people outside of WI do to understand is the god-like reverence and
personal attachment people have for and to Scott Walker. Walker did something phenomenal when he brought the teachers union to their knees and when he beat back the recall effort. Many of us, myself included have blood, sweat and tears invested in Walker. When you invest in someone it is difficult to acknowledge that person has stabbed you in the back, but for me I would rather acknowledge that Walker is no longer fighting the good fight but has become a GOP establishment puppet through and through.
Just imagine the favors Walker owes after his Union and recall fight, he is now bought and paid for so he is out with the bath water but the majority of Wisconsinites can not accept this and they blame Trump 100% for Scott not being the GOP nominee.
That said before Scott was unceremoniously booted form the race every single talking head and GOP big wig worried that Scott was not a national candidate, he is dull, he is monotone, he has no social skills and he didn't graduate college.
Please

.
Scott was a dead candidate from the moment he stepped on the national stage. Everyone here knows this as a fact but not everyone will admit it. So they blame Trump. So Trump met the wrath of people who are emotionally bound to Walker and economically bought to the GOP Establishment saltworts.
The large and most salient point is that old money the runs the GOP here and a Trump presidency will knock their lying, greedy, self interested, globalist asses right out of the public trough and the GOP can not and will not tolerate such a dismissal.
Talk radio danced to the beat of the GOP Establishment and were brutal in their assault on Trump, the truth be damned, they did everything they could to say terrible things about Trump and treated Cruz with silk gloves.
Someone mentioned dairy farmers not wanting to lose their cheap illegal labor but I just don't have the feeling that is true, (which given it is a feeling means absolutely nothing) the far east side counties that went for Cruz have a lot of the dairy farmers. Apparently we have about 10,000 farms in WI. BTW I did predict the map would look almost exactly like it does.
There is also something not right in the heads of many of our residents in 2012 WI voted for both Walker and Obama. there is no way to square that peg.
And there is always the fact that we are a bunch of drunks
