I wondered what you thought about it.

As I've said and you disagree, they always have a bad one after a bad one to offset the first bad one.

In ALL sports imo.

I do agree the Bailey call, then his century ..... was a BIGGIE mistake/call.

With this "Platform" I would like to see India score maybe 10 per over in last 10 overs.. and so add 100 to their total.

It would be nice if they had close to 250 after 40 overs.

I dont buy the bad decision evening out.. sometime they do.. but really bad ones can effect the game result (potentially) like last game.

The Bailey mistake.. India have themselves to blame really.. not allowing 3rd umpire.. and it would have been unlikely ANY umpire could give that out without a replay.

Today's mistake, as I say... poor umpiring.

That's just the way I view it, to accept it and move on (let it go).

I do agree with you when if affects the outcome of the game, this is major.

Hooking up my tablet ...

On the 10 runs per last 10 overs, being the nerdy newbie I am, I kept count during the last game, and India did come close, only a few runs short. Saw the benefit of the fielding changes at 40 overs.

These commentators are easily pleased :roll

I still think India are BEHIND where they should be.

People excited....Sharma scored a century.. but SR only 90.4.... :doh

That is simply NOT good enough as far as team goes... better to have 3 people needed (3 wickets fall) to add up to 100 if they do it at SR 150

Sharma is tired now... likely to go out.. but if not then he needs to pull-finger and get his SR up.. and at this stage on he will need SR 200 to cause his overall SR to be acceptable. I do not think sharma will score at 2 runs a ball from now on.

40 overs gone.... India are 233/2

Even with 10 runs per over now... that gives them 333 final total.... IMO that is a par score.... good enough but not great :cool

No sign of rain.. but I imagine in sub-tropical Brisbane.. if it comes it could be a deluge? (Monsoon)

Actually if Sharma is tired and slightly LESS than SR 100 is his best.. then it might be BETTER for India if he is OUT.. and a new fresh batsman comes in to hit a few boundaries.

Never mind I was confused. I'm still here, Rumpole, and will just read what you have to say.

Limited posting by me. ;)

:cool

Mind you.. this is NOT Australia's top team. They are capable of casing down 330.. but as always... cricket is a funny old game.. and loss of quick wickets by Australia will make 330 a very difficult target to reach

India making hard work of this. They are NOT building on the "Good platform" :roll

They are struggling to get much over 300.. and as I have said they need more like 350.

Looks like Australia on track to get the target... but not spectacular RR... still only 1 wicket down after 27 overs is good.

I still see no sign of rain .. but... IF there is any chance of it then I hope Australia are aware of what score they need at every point.. on the off chance that rain ends the match early. They are past 20 overs so it is officially a game and it is possible it will end if heavy rain sets in.

The MCG - Another run-fest beckons

Image

Cricket is a funny old game.. but I cant see why a side can not score 350 on that wicket!!!

Australia win the toss and choose to bowl

That is a cool photo of the pitch!

Never have seen how the wicket is hooked up to electrical.

Can they make 100+ in the last 10 overs?
