Three months after Ferguson erupted in protest over the police killing of unarmed Black teenager Michael Brown, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) added an Israeli weapon called skunk to its protest-crushing arsenal, arms industry news website Defense One has confirmed.

Skunk is a crowd control “malodorant” developed by the Israeli police in collaboration with Odortec, an Israeli company that specializes in scent-based weapons, and tested on Palestinians.

Released at high pressure from a water cannon, canister or grenade, skunk liquid emits an odor—described as a mix of rotting animal carcass, raw sewage and human excrement—that sticks to walls, clothing, hair and skin for days to weeks and is impossible to wash away without a special soap that is only accessible to police. Ramallah-based activist and writer Mariam Barghouti once told The Electronic Intifada’s Patrick Strickland that “the water lingers on your skin to a point when you want to rip your skin off.”

First deployed by Israeli armed forces in 2008, skunk water has become a fixture in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

The alleged gunman who is accused of opening fire in Ferguson on the anniversary of Michael Brown's death posed holding guns on Facebook and bragged about being a gangster.

Tyrone Harris called himself 'Ty Glocks' after the gun maker and claimed he was part of a group called 'Pistol Gang'.

He posed in multiple photos on Facebook with pistols and rifles whilst his friends waved wads of cash in front of the camera.

Harris also bragged in one post that he would 'do da hit by myself' and made gang signs for the camera.

One woman in an SUV managed to break through the protest line on the highway…
But not before she was slugged in the face by one of the protesters.

State of Emergency in Ferguson Is Lifted as Protests Ease

The St. Louis County executive, in a formal indication that tensions in Ferguson, Mo., had eased since an outbreak of gunfire on Sunday night, rescinded on Friday the emergency declaration that he had issued because of “criminal unrest.”

The decision by the executive, Steven V. Stenger, had been widely expected after nights of limited protests and no arrests, and it mostly affected the scores of law enforcement officials who had been assigned to police demonstrations in Ferguson. Mr. Stenger’s declaration of emergency, issued on Monday, had placed Jon Belmar, St. Louis County’s police chief, in charge of emergency operations in the city of about 21,000 people.

St. Louis County police investigate officer's post on spending 'annual Michael Brown bonus'

FERGUSON, Mo. – St. Louis County police are investigating a Facebook post in which one of its officers discusses how he spent his "annual Michael Brown bonus."

The Guardian (http://bit.ly/1LdORpa ) reports that Officer Todd Bakula posted on his Facebook page that he took his wife to a bed and breakfast using money earned for staffing the protests this week in Ferguson, where Brown was fatally shot by a white officer last year.

St. Louis County Sgt. Shawn McGuire told the newspaper that Bakula is a patrolman and the post would be investigated.

He also said the department understands the post is "controversial."

Neither McGuire nor the general counsel for the Missouri Fraternal Order of Police immediately responded to an email from The Associated Press.

Bakula doesn't have a listed number.

Instead of being offended, The BLM turds in Ferguson should hit the cops where it hurts. The pocketbook.
Go home. Remove the need for overtime pay. When the think about it, the more they clean up their act the less need for cops in general. They will never figure that out. LOL!
