His meek demeanor (unsure of himself) and never looking at the jury, didn't help.

State seemed more prepared.

The Jury View Bus Trip

The AMC Loews Theater is 3 miles from Danvers High School. BJ's Warehouse is 1 mile from the AMC, Wendy's is 0.3 miles from AMC. It seems all locations are in close proximity to each other.

A jury is NOT competent to make an evaluation as to whether a person's "mental illness" make them "not guitly by reson of insanity". They should NOT be asked to even try. Their decision on such a point is meaningless. Chism is CLEARLY guilty of Murder1 and rape and should be found guilty.
IF the system is so silly as to consider him not responsible for his own actions, then that needs to be decided by some sort of panel of experts (shrinks and legal experts). That needs to be a separate matter IMO

After driving by and pausing at BJ's Warehouse, AMC Loews Theater, Wendy's, two gas stations on Route 1 where Chism stopped in and area near Ipswich River on Route 1 where Chism was found by police (walking), the jury view bus is back at the Courthouse at 2:27 PM.
