What a great group, Rumpole. I like this set of songs (blue cover). Almost as much as Placebo ... but in a different way. Raw, real lyrics. :) Thanks for the introduction.

Group have aged a bit.. I bought a few of their albums... Welsh boys.. A bit of controversy early on.. lead singer vanished.. almost certainly suicide jumping off bridge.. but no body so myths spring up about him.
There were posters advertising Manics when I was in Cardiff (2013).. new album? or concert?
One of my fave clips is Manics at Millennium stadium (Cardiff holy place for Wesh Rugby- Formerly Cardiff Arms Park) NY celebrations for new Millennium..
Lead guitar and singer James Dean Bradford managed to keep song going despite his guitar crapping out, and a replacement (or fix)

They are only my SECOND fave Welsh band... Stereophonics are better... and still going strong
