NZ is (and was ..more so) a bit out of the way for overseas artists. It wasn't until the 80's that Neil Young made it here... huge open air concert.... too far away to see much (big screen technology not arrived yet). he later did pop back a couple of times and I did get to be up at the front .. I remember singing along with Neil to "Sugar Mountain"
