I totally agree. I do not regret supporting his trial but, I don't support anything he has done since being found not guilty. I think George is a loose cannon and I believe he loves the attention be it good or bad. He's famewhoring now. This fight is for nothing more than attention. Why else would someone with no income, choose to donate the money? Has anyone heard whether the buyer of the first painting paid up? I get the feeling they didn't.

His behavior on Twitter is embarrassing to say the least. He quotes bible verses one minute, then posts pictures with the f-word the next. Unfortunately, everything Shellie has said about him regarding wanting attention and feeling untouchable, looks to be true. Sadly for him, he is either going to push the wrong button on someone or push the wrong legal button. One way or another, I don't see his life getting any better unless he gets the help he desperately needs.

I agree FroggieLegs. I tried to tell people when they were coming down so hard on Shellie that their was another side to the story. She was suffering from trauma from things that occured before the trial. That lawyer of hers and that O'Connor woman swooped right in and in her weakened state took her over convincing her to do those interviews. I am so glad for her that since the dv incident she has laid low and is not all over social media but is trying to move on. George has made some bad judgement calls since the verdict. I don't know what his deal is but he obviously needs help. This fight shows a major lack of class. No matter how it turns out he will not come out of this looking good.

Can't be all bad. The money goes to charity which is a good thing.
Didn't George get some part of $100,000 from selling his painting?
Looks like he is making money and far in excess of what he probably made doing whatever he did before the shooting. Don't have to work 9-5 anyway.
I don't do Twitter or Facebook, but from what I have seen of George he is a nice, caring guy. Clearly he is not the brightest bulb in the bunch but not the dimmest either. Marriage come and go. It is usually a fight to the finish in divorce. Glad Shellie is playing it low key now. Her lawyer was lots of laughs.

I saw Robert's twitter, but I certainly was not watching CNN, especially Morgan. I wouldn't watch it even if I knew he was going to explode.

George has said nothing about actually being paid for the painting. Nor has he mentioned delivering it at promised. So we really don't know if he was actually paid for it or not.

I use to believe George was nice, but one of his supporters I think it was Sharon444, tweeted to him about his latest behavior on Twitter (regarding his swearing etc) and he replied to her by saying "thanks for all the advice" then posting a picture

My thoughts FWIW... I think I am like many... I supported George in the position he was in... an individual up against several Goliaths of corruption. Not to mention the imprinted, wilfully ignorant lynch mob. His acquittal was the short term goal. Various Schemers held to account is really a separate battle(s)... still ongoing.

Having worked in a very tiny way toward the goal of George's acquittal... all is good. George owes me nothing. The point about being "free" is to be free to be stupid (if that is what George is being). Having got to "know" a little about him I do hope he thrives from here.. but that is up to him. I am a little concerned... and do hope he will be OK and safe at least.

I agree. I supported George from Day 1 because I thought he was innocent of the crimes charged, and because of the immense political pressure brought to bear upon him and his family. The thought that it could happen to any of us made me that much more supportive of him. Although I've always thought of George as one of the "good guys" who wears "white hats," I've lived long enough to know that none of us are without faults. I have no doubt that George has some of those faults, and I have a feeling he may have even more faults now than before the heavy hammers of "the powers that be" had pounded him into the ground. I don't think anyone would be unscathed after that experience! I may not agree with everything he does now, but I have to understand and sympathize.

For you I played "silly enough" and watched the repeat of the show just now. It was the usual drama from Piers. He was in a heated debate with a transgender "female" but no more so than when he debates gun rights activists. So I took one for the team. Now I can go recover.
