On Geraldo's show he let out something that will be tomorrow's news - that the NAACP is going to ask the DOJ/Feds to go after GZ for TMs right to live.

Several well-known attorneys on Geraldo's panel and they all said that the Feds won't go after GZ.

I was glad to hear from O'Mara in the defense press conference after the verdict, that the motions for sanctions against the prosecutors will go forward through the legal process.

What angers me a bit about the whole NAACP thing, is it seems that they have no idea what is going on with the trial at all...tunnel vision if you will. All they see is GZ shot TM...that's it. They refuse to acknowledge that TM assaulted GZ, they refuse to take a look at one piece of evidence (I mean seriously, with their incredibly busy lives, how many of them are locked onto MSNBC like we are ? huh?), they refuse to acknowledge that the JURY was given explicit instructions in regards to the definitions of Murder2 and Manslaughter, and how to convict on each charge. It's not GZ's fault that the prosecution didn't do their job. Why not sue the prosecutors and their cronies in this case for breaking TM's civil rights ? They were the ones who neglected to prove, by a preponderance of the evidence, that ANY law was broken. GZ was ACQUITTED, by a jury of his peers. These people who cry for justice seems to snub justice when it doesn't go their way, and throw tantrums and threats. If I were GZ, I would be handing out lawsuits like Snickers bars on Halloween !!

Over at Freddy Leatherheads they're very sensitive and are attackng each other over nothing. Call each trolls. It's so hilarious.

Now they're calling for the Federales to get involved. There's a new online petition too.

Personally I don't see the Fed getting involved as they aready determined GZ was not racist and now a court of law/jury has determined his use of force was justified.

He he as tempting as it is to gloat, I really haven't. It is nice to feel vindicated though. How many times had I told them there is no evidence of George being the aggressor...and even the pro-prosecution judge agreed. Or told them that the gun shot was angled inward a smidge...then the foremost pathologist in the country agreed. And so on while their legal 'experts' continued to make themselves look silly.

If they had paid attention to me, Jello, Flgirl, etc...they wouldn't be so heartbroken right now as they would have seen this just and proper verdict coming.

I got a little worried when they asked for clarification of the manslaughter instruction. I agree with this verdict and now I wish Corey would just quit and get out of sight because I agree that this case should have never been brought up for trial. But since it did and they followed the letter of the law so be it.
