True enough. It is far more likely that Martin made it all the way to Brandi Green's back porch, saw Zimmerman walk across the sidewalk (one of the few lighted areas), and then circled back to confront him.

Someone needs to ask NatJack why didn't GZ or TM see each other when GZ was passing through the "T" while talking with the NEN dispatcher.

If the Jury "gets it" I think deliberation should be over quickly.

So... perhaps tomorrow night, but if not......

Do they deliberate on weekend? I imagine Nelson will give them a choice?

Would they announce a verdict on weekend

I need to look it up, but the 2,5 hours is too much to search through. I have seen cases re-opened after rebuttal started because of things like this. Knowing MOM and Nelson, prolly nothing will come of it.

I agree. Nothing will come of it because MOM knows <c'mon, sing it with me> "...the state has no case!"

Try a google image search for deep thought. You should find plenty of good options. ;)

So who thinks we'll have a verdict by this time tomorrow? Or Saturday morning.

My vote is for tomorrow late afternoon.

Was it an 8:30 start? Say 3 hours of Omara/West, half of Bernie's team, hour lunch, bathroom break, verdict at 1:30-ish, and jurors home before 5.

Lawyers in the twitterverse are predicting a quick verdict. Diana Tennis has posted a few times that she expects less than 3 hours.

This jury wants to go home. I would bet they'll be home tomorrow, in time for the weekend. :)

Yes, yes, yes, and yes. I agree tomorrow; Nelson said they can deliberate on the weekend and I'd bet they will want to in the unlikely event they don't render a verdict an hour or two after the last closing; Nelson said she'd leave it up to them.

TM could have run to Brandis house BEFORE George even got to the T (walking and talking on phone)... and I think he did.

The "on the porch" comments by Brandi suggest he left something there... but putting that aside.... I think he looked back up towards the T.. saw the Creepy ass cracka.... told DD.... went back to confront George.

From your keyboard to God's monitor... And it wouldn't surprise me a bit if this is what happens.

MOM should end his remarks and say, "The state would have you believe that reality could have unfolded in a multitude of ways, and expect you to believe that there's no evidence to believe one over the other. It could have happened this way, could have happened that way, and it could have happened JUST AS GEORGE ZIMMERMAN SAID IT DID" And ladies and gentlemen of the jury, that's reasonable doubt, which is exactly what the defense agrees with, and if you believe it too, you must find George Zimmerman NOT GUILTY!!"

''Deep Thought'' ? Pfttttt......

Insignificant compared to a computer whose merest operational parameters I "Deep Thought" is not worthy to calculate

Yeah... that's what I said when Bernie started banging on :)

The way I understand it (and I am embarrassed about my lack of knowledge compared to the average poster at RT) TM™ had enough time to walk to BG's townhome. Andrew Branca was able to do the same distance pushing a baby stroller in less time than TM™ had.

And I still think DD egged him on, called him a mama's boy, mocked him, etc. to get him to jump GZ. Seriously. I believe that's why she said she had guilt.

That's good but I still prefer a modified version of Diana Tennis' idea:

Asking the jurors to close their eyes, imagine they're screaming for help while a stranger is banging their head into concrete and hitting them, then counting off 40 seconds, at both the start and again at the end of his closing.

40 seconds can seem like a very, very long time.

Timing the length of the event was used in the Jodi Arias case

I would be a GREAT demonstration if MOM did that.

I guess it's too much to ask that he be allowed to bang Bernies head on the floor while the 40 secs run?

:Gslap :Gslap I suppose he could suggest that none of the prosecutors would allow him to bang their heads on the carpeted floor for 40 seconds...

But just think of it - MOM stands up, does the 40 second thing and tells the jury that's the baseline for everything else he's going to say. Lays out the evidence, the lack of evidence, the state's excellent presentation of boatloads of reasonable doubt, explains any reasonable doubt means they must by law acquit of all charges, then ends with the 40 seconds again...
