I know I'm being selfish, but I don't want the defense to close today. I want them to attempt to get the Judge to reconsider their motions.. Besides that, as the trial lingers, the state is looking weaker and stupid. They are running out of steam.

If they were all as good as Root, I agree. :)

If we're being selfish, go for Crump and Rachel, then follow with what animation they can show using Dr. D.

ADD: MOM can announce he needs more donations to question Crump!

I object! The mannequin was not factually correct. Guy used it to represent George, it should have been brown. Was the height and weight exact? Was it yelling aholes and f'ing punks? Was it entered into evidence? Was it allowed as a demonstrative aid? Most importantly, where was it's car and why did it get out of it's car?

I like it, kbp! Also want to subpoena the recipients/senders of those fight texts to authenticate.

:Gslap Londo!

Maybe because Guy appears so ugly inside; or maybe cos my hubby is so very handsome outside (and such a good man inside) and I'm spoiled by it; but I'm just not seeing the big fuss about Guy.

Or she wants to give prosecution time to get their act together? :30

Does a supposedly sequestered jury being taken out to lunch on the verge of the defense resting its case - and therefore on the verge of moving into jury instructions and deliberation - concerning to anyone else, or is it just me?

Did I mention how biased Holly Bristow on FOX 35 is? She's not buying George was a wimp. She says in the reenactment he looked like he was in good shape and had been in training for over a year. That even she would have been able to fight back.

Also a prosecutor on HLN or CNN said the prosecution had a great morning. Made the grounds for manslaughter by suggesting Trayvon was retreating.

PS - When I first met hubby he was like <gasp> handsome and like a lot of men, he got even better looking with age. I won't post a photo, but he's over 6' tall; former quarterback body - not big, not over-muscled; salt and pepper hair, green eyes, patrician nose and bearing... hmmm... what was I talking about?

How do I tie my bragging into the case so my o/t post doesn't get deleted? Any ideas, anyone?

Oh yeah - Think about it: the prosecution team are all physically ugly, with the possible exception of Guy in the opinion of some. I think a lot of it comes from within them and how they've lived their lives, such as persecuting innocent people. I mean, we can't believe this is the first time. They appear to be comfortable with what they're doing, kwim?

Edit - What I meant by "<gasp> handsome" is like catch your breath he's so handsome.

HLN or CNN? Consider the source.

Considering the FACT that we can't rule out anything in this case, YES! The good news is that they'd need to hold hostages for all jurors to get them to cooperate, unless they only need/want one for a hung jury, which would be accomplished one-on-one I'd think.

Past is prologue and we know the Anthony jurors discussed the case prior to deliberations, per the dismissed alternates discussing the case with media, "We all felt..." etc. However, they are supposed to be supervised and likely are at public events like this. I don't think there will be tv on or newspapers lying around; likely a private room or area in the restaurant, etc.

It's that private setting that worries me. Jury is all alone, away from the courthouse. All the easier to slip some DOJ-CRS crony in with them, to explain how things will go in deliberation.

I am not trying to start a discussion about race relations, or anything along that line. We all know if I did that, Rumpole would hit me with a trout so hard that I'd wake up in the Arias thread.

However, I was watching someone talking about the case on Fox, and I just want to comment that it makes me sad that it seems so many people look at this case through a racial or even racist lens. It makes me sad that the color(s) of the participants matters to some.

And yet to others it appears the state has given up on 2nd degree and is now gearing toward, hoping for, manslaughter.

Holly - well - consider the source, I guess is all I should say about that. More importantly, everyone, remember this for when we hear these same liars reporting on anything in the future.

I suspect they have a police escort for protection/ensure compliance with sequestration.

Rumor has it that GZ's Dad will be the last defense witness.

BTW, doesn't this photo remind you of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers?
