She's been so thoroughly discredited now, it may not help defense. However, MOM got her to admit that it could have been as described by John, one on top of the other. TM™ had no injuries prior to gunshot, plus witnesses saw TM™ on top, so she actually added the beat-down part that John slightly backed away from.

I don't agree. I am so glad O'Mara discredited this witness. To say two people were running left to right and their arms were flailing about like fighting in a standing position is very detrimental to GZ. HLN is already scrawling letters across the bottom of the screen asking if GZ lied to police because of her. This woman LIED!!

I'm glad O'Mara always googles witnesses and potential jurors.

Do you think that Sybrina is "re-thinking" getting on the stand and testifying that those screams of "HELP" were made by Treyvon?

It depends on what she has done on the internet. They won't be able to scrub it. I don't think O'Mara would come down so hard on Trayvon's mother though.

After MOM got her to admit that, she next used the excuse it was too dark to see well to avoid further damage. But, being hung out as a liar at the end makes it rather moot, IMO.

Darn I watched the wrong trial again. World News Tonight with Brian Williams is reporting a good day for the prosecution. They played a portion of George's reenactment where he says He stretched out TM's hands, followed by clip of the cop who did CPR saying hands were under the body. Also, played NEN call, minus the OK, followed by NW representative saying about not following. NO mention of W1, not one thing positive said about George. Local news (central Florida) talking about the heart wrenching photos of the body. While I appreciate how difficult this might be for the parents, the pictures weren't all that terrible.

That's why I won't watch HLN. Seriously. I won't give them hits to their websites, or a viewer on their station.

HLN doesn't matter, though; the jurors do. They know the woman lied and is Trayborg™. In closing, if they feel a need to mention her at all, the defense can say that she heard someone running and it could have been TM™ running to attack GZ. She admitted it could have been one person on top of the other, which could bolster John's expected testimony. She added the windmill (punches) which further corroborates GZ. So, since she's Trayborg™ everything she says that can be construed as against the narrative should be given the weight of against one's penal interest.

Just sayin'.

With that lawsuit pending, looks like they're doubling down in hopes the narrative will save them. SMH

One thing is for sure - this case has been a wake up to a lot of people that you can't believe anything you hear/read from the media.

my only worry is.... the usual in cases.... what seems obvious to us MAY NOT be obvious to a jury. As you cite.. HLN and others can look at the same testimony and see it entirely differently.

Of course what will be needed to hammer everything home is a GREAT closing argument.... MOM's finest hour?... or a disaster?

The system is such that STATE get the last word.. so MOM has to really score so well with the jury that BDLR, can not snuff out the flames that MOM ignites.

HLN talking heads aren't espousing unbiased opinions regarding what they've heard; they're intentionally spinning the testimony in order to continue to push their narrative.

I have much more faith in the jury.

George Zimmerman’s Attorney Opens Second Day Of Trial With Trayvon Martin Impression

SANFORD, FL—As the trial of former neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman entered its second day this morning, defense attorney Don West reportedly opened his team’s remarks with an extended comic impression of Trayvon Martin, the deceased teen whom his client is accused of murdering in a fatal shooting altercation last year. “Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I’d like you to imagine for a moment that it’s a dark night in Sanford, and my client sees an imposing stranger in an oversized hooded sweatshirt coming towards him—it might go a little something like this,” West said before turning his back to the jury, pulling on a hoodie, grabbing a bag of Skittles and spinning back around to face the court. “Yo, my name’s Trayvon, and I’m here to say/Suckers mess with me, I will make them pay.” West reportedly concluded his impression with a nearly 10-minute-long freestyle rap, which sources said received no visible reaction from the jury.

Thanks everyone for the great posts. I haven't been able to read this morning's testimony, but thanks to all of you, I caught up with this afternoon. This last ear witness was great for the defense...I can't wait to see the *dirt* they have on the sister...O'Mara's team has their game on, vetting the prosecution witnesses. I'm impressed with the research.

I have the same fears. But after today's testimony, I can't imagine anyone on the jury not seeing this for what it is. But, then again, stranger things have been known to happen.

Is it to much hope for that Nelson will dismiss before it makes it to the jury?

GZ is on trial, but key prosecution witness is still recruiting people to sign petition to file charges against GZ. #nutcase
