Juror Questions!

http://www.kpho.com/link/640242/read-ju ... rias-trial

eta - just read through all of them and it is a mix. Only some of the questions that were "not asked" are there (this is written on the bottom left corner of the individual questions) along with many that were asked.

I heard some of the "side cars". No wonder Juan was angry. The defense was so antsy they called for a side bar every 2 minutes!!! Juan must have been SOOOOOOO frustrated! They were trying to break his stride and thought.

Jennifer W. was like a TIGHTLY wound up rubber band!! OR a trigger happy Jack In The Box!! POP!!
He never did that to them... when they were putting on their long, long, long, long case. Juan was only 9 days I think. The "STAR" was on for 18 days, alone wasn't she? Then their wonderful "experts"... B O R I N G .

I watched this trial when I could get streaming of it, otherwise I caught up with each day via YouTube. I was often struck with the difference when this woman was on the stand and how she presented herself, to the very full of herself and almost light-hearted manner she used to portray herself in the various interviews she has given, particularly in the early calls she had with the police to 'help' them, and the 48Hours interview. I don't know what she was thinking about at the time or who she was trying to convince, but for someone who was supposedly having a love affair, right from the word go she didn't sound at all broken hearted (as someone who genuinely hearing about a death like this would have, who did not commit a murder).

When I heard the number of times their relationship was on/off etc. I just thought seriously no woman would have stood for his behaving in such a manner as she has outlined from their so-called boyfriend, they'd have walked a long time ago and never looked back. It also occurred to me how interesting it would be, if we had been able to hear Travis Alexander's side of the story, which of course is impossible.

I have studied people for years. She is wearing glasses, looks plain, does anyone know if she has always worn contacts or glasses? She did not act timid in her replies to the prosecutor - who in my opinion has been excellent.

This is a most dangerous woman.

Wroughead... welcome again....

The links shown here should work as well for you in UK as they do for me in NZ?

IF your computer set up is up to scratch :46

Or was the problem... that you had other things that kept you away?

Wroughead Hi!

Tonight there is new information coming I think, on Dr. Drew. He is on HLN at 9:00PM Eastern.
Sickening ... they always make the defendants look like a Librarian. I don't think she wore glasses before,
or after.

I think I know why she wanted those after trial interviews. She wanted to show us (As IF we CARE?), how good she can look when "cleaned up" and made up. Pleeeeeeze.

When they broke up, I bet she lured him BACK into the relationship with her "anything goes" sex. I think he was very torn/confused between his religious rules, and his human urges, and this tempting crass reptile in a human disguise. For sure she wore "The Mask Of Sanity". (Great "teaching book" I had once ... no longer.) I think IF she left him alone, he was THROUGH and was trying to start a relationship with other girls, BUT she wouldn't LET HIM. Threatening emails, phone calls, slashing of THEIR tires, breaking and entering into their houses too...

There was a program on I.D. the other night. I walked in on the middle of it... heard a girl saying "Ho's slash tires and things like that, but they usually don't kill people." Jodi acts like a Ho? Well, well well!

Wroughead ... you are in Scotland? My husband visited there 10 years ago for about 2 weeks. He was in Balater, Edinburgh, and Glascow. He loved it there. He bought a walking stick there, and I use it now, sometimes. Love it!

Rumpole - thank you, I think the links for streaming should work for me too.

I actually have a new computer. I always have them built for me rather than to go buy one 'off the shelf' so to speak, so I'm using Windows 7 which I love and I think I should have no problems, if I do I'll post something on the forum and take any help that is offered.

Joni - thank you too and I agree with you on what you've said. Her Attorneys have obviously tried to groom her, however, she is a very strong willed and determined woman, so I think a lot of what they may have advised her would go right over her head.

I think this has been an interesting case and I find even now that I've gone back to YouTube to look at some of her testimony for a second time, further proving [to me] my assessment of her character.

Wroughead - happy you're here with us! :91

Addressing the Miss Librarian look - no, Jodi normally never wore glasses. Her look was carefully crafted by the defense right down to them lowering her seat (always such a huge difference from the level her attorney Jennifer Willmott's chair was) to make her appear waifish. This they ripped off from the other murderess, Casey Anthony. Worked for her. Ugh!

In all her recent interviews, the uber-vain Jodi is never wearing glasses. Everything she did and how she looked was geared towards the Jury.

And not to worry, most of us came into this trial late (I came on the first day of Jodi's cross by Juan Martinez - whoa!). I had to go back over the weekends (court was adjourned most Fridays) and do my catching up thanks to YouTube. One of the most interesting trials I've ever watched!

And I agree with you - Jodi is a dangerous, dangerous woman who should never be set free.

Thanks, taurus! All I could read was whine, whine, whine. No legitimate reason for Juror 5's dismissal.

I look forward to reading all the rest of what was sealed during trial - I'm such a busybody!! :84

Honestly - is not WORMY a pathetic desperate creature? I think he IS trying to build a lengthy record of complaints, requests for mistrials, hoping the Supreme Court (if that's who it is), will think ... "Hmmm where there is smoke - there might be - fire?"

Wonder if he ever has any cheese with that wine... :TF

Hi Joni - Nurmi may be pathetic but he's been pretty smart about how to butter his bread at the expense of the State of Arizona! He's making a FORTUNE, thanks to Ms. Arias. :roll

This is rich, there's a petition on twitter that some benefactor is willing to pay the entire cable bill for the jail so Jodi can have cable TV.

I have to say based on what I've seen I don't think much of Arias Defense team at all. I would hate to think that she could profit financially from this crime, although I believe a movie is already in the pipeline.

I think the jury could see through her, I know if I were on that jury I would see through her during the cross by Juan Martinez a very adept prosecutor indeed.

If you looked at her during most, if not all of that cross by him, she was certainly in charge and not the shrinking violet. I am none of those things, but I think a prosecutor like Juan Martinez could have made me stumble - she held her ground on many points. I believe she was in charge and not Travis based purely on what I've seen, if this woman wanted to run away, or say no to Travis Alexander at any time she certainly could have. I have no doubt about that.

It's a sick old world at times, this business of cable tv so that she can be comfortable in her cell, does not surprise me in the slightest. Killers like her attract some oddball fans.

WH ... does she only get the Food Network channel? If so great!
She will be hungry, and she might like to make some things she learned about, etc.
Let her live on the institutional food in Sherriff Joe's place! I can't WAIT till she lives in prison.
Whole different ball game, I think? Hope?

I am grateful too for Juan's expertise. Aside from questions, I saw the huge picture too where he RIPPED the
mask off this REPTILE and showed her for what she is!! Yes for sure - we saw her STRENGTH, DETERMINATION and FIGHTING SPIRIT!! So very dangerous, you are RIGHT. So so sick! The sky's the limit!! God help the next one that angers her - enough. What will she have to lose...?
