One of my first online fun times was when Forum posters were finding first Caylee's skull, then all manner of books and toys in the bushes shown in remains site photos... NONE of them proved to be there really... we did in that case get to see the "answer to the puzzle" eventually. We had a lot of FUN "finding" kittens etc since given that game you can find pretty much anything you want in an ambiguos grainy blurred photo. And who can forget the JQ idiots who saw GZ lurking inside the pool house... hours and hours and hours of (blank, no people in the clubhouse) surveillance videos in reality

And anybody who followed the Pistorus trial KNOWS that witnesses hear (and see) what they are predisposed to see/hear.

And here's the biggie.. auditory rather than visual... the Daft Old Hags at JQ managed to convince themselves that they could hear "4 accomplices and a cockatoo" in the background of GZ's NEN call.



I have opined before about the human perception phenomena of "Pareidolia" as well as more general quirks of human perception.. Given AMBIGUOUS images (information) it is a human trait to "fill in the gaps" and to FIND some order.. known patterns , especially human faces.
( That is why "smileys" work : ) is readily seen as a face)

I predict that the still images claimed to be Affonso hitting Medina and "the knife butt" and the claimed "shadow play" will be about as real as the kitten seen in the Anthony case photos... as in a total illusion/delusion
