Latest... one officer dead.....

2 NYPD sergeants injured, 1 gravely, in Bronx shooting

VAN NEST, Bronx (WABC) -Two NYPD sergeants were wounded in a police-involved shooting in the Bronx Friday, and one of them was gravely injured, union officials confirmed.

The incident happened on Noble Avenue at Bronx River Avenue in the Van Nest section.

The victims were rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where one is listed in critical condition. The second sergeant was shot but is not believed to have life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was shot and killed.

Authorities say a home invasion was reported about four blocks from the shooting scene, and officers assigned to the 43rd Precinct responded. The suspect had reportedly already left the home when police encountered him and attempted to make the traffic stop.

There was some sort of a accident involved, with the police vehicle on the sidewalk and what appears to be the suspect's vehicle crashed into some construction equipment.

The officer shot in the head has died.

I wonder if cop killer Manuel Rosales was an illegal alien.

From other reports, sounds like a vehicle pulled up next to the officer and fired twice into the window. Chief Dodson said there will be two officers in every patrol car tonight.

Follow up on above story - St. Louis police officer shot in the face.

This site is really bogging down my PC, so only posting link.
http://fox2now.com/2016/11/21/police-id ... s-officer/

Basically, they identified the suspect who shot the officer. Early this morning they tried to pull over a car someone else was driving. George Bush III, 19, got out of the passenger side and started running down an alley. When he was approached by an unmarked unit, Bush fired through the windshield. He was killed by police.

Bush was also a suspect in a carjacking and another murder case that happened in the St. Louis area over the weekend.

The officer had surgery last night and was released this morning.

Durham police officer fatally shoots man in McDougald Terrace
By Virginia Bridges | The News & Observer| November 22, 2016, 1:09PM

DURHAM - A police officer shot and killed a man in the McDougald Terrace housing complex early Tuesday afternoon after a brief encounter between the man and a three-officer patrol team.

Police have not released the man’s name, pending notification of his family. But in a statement, the department says the three officers were speaking to the man near the intersection of Wabash and Dayton streets when he “made a sudden movement toward his waistband and a struggle ensued.”

During the struggle, the officers say they heard a gunshot, and one of the officers fired his gun. The police statement says a gun that did not belong to police was located next to the man’s body.

None of the officers was hit by gunfire, but one was taken to the hospital with a leg injury.

The shooting took place about 12:30 p.m. The police department flooded the area around McDougald Terrace with officers, with help from sheriff’s deputies and state troopers.

Both happened today. You can move the last one to BLM if you want, don't know the officer's name or his condition yet. Will update after you move it.

The one in Durham won't be a court case or any follow-up from me, perp is dead. If it becomes a case, we can move.

Police officer hospitalized after shooting in Raleigh
By Richard Stradling | The News & Observer | November 30, 2016, 3:11PM

Image

RALEIGH - A police officer was hospitalized after being involved in a shooting at a condominium complex near Lake Johnson on Wednesday afternoon.

The shooting took place about 2:45 p.m. at 1230 University Court in the Lake Park Condominiums, off Lake Dam Road south of Avent Ferry Road. The officer and a person police described as a suspect were taken to WakeMed.

No other details were immediately available.

Philip Palmer, who lives in an apartment in an adjoining complex, said the door to his screened porch was open, allowing him to clearly hear the gunshots.

“It sounded rapid fire. It was multiple shots,” said Palmer, 26. “It was fast.”

Police Officer Shot in Washington State During Domestic Call
By AP | ABC News | November 30, 2016, 10:00PM

A police officer was shot multiple times in Tacoma while responding to a domestic violence call about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, authorities said.

Tacoma police said on Twitter about 6 p.m. that officers were working an active call involving many agencies in the 400 block of East 52nd Street. Police asked people to stay away from the area.

Multiple news outlets reported the suspect was barricaded in a home with a weapon and that officers were working to arrest the suspect.

Police say the officer was taken to a Tacoma hospital but didn't give the extent of the officer's injuries.

No information was immediately available about the specific circumstances leading up to the shooting.

The officer has died. :(

Quote:
Two Tacoma police officers responded to a domestic violence call at 413 East 52nd Street. After arriving, the officers came under fire and one of the officers was repeatedly shot. Backup officers were able to extract the injured officer from the scene, and he was transported to the hospital. The unidentified officer died of his gunshot wounds at Tacoma General Hospital.

The scene is still active at the time of this writing. Officers on scene have been able to extract a female and children from the residence where the suspect is barricaded. Unconfirmed sounds of gunfire are being reported in the area and the suspect reportedly shot at a police helicopter. News helicopters then responded to the scene as well.

The Washington State Patrol is on scene, along with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, SWAT Team, and the ATF who arrived to take this killer into custody. Everybody in the area is advised to avoid the scene or shelter in their homes.

Two Juveniles Charged With Arson in Tennessee Wildfires That Killed 14
By Alex Johnson | NBC News | December 7, 2016, 3:52PM

Two juveniles were arrested Wednesday on aggravated arson charges in the Tennessee wildfires that killed 14 people, and more charges are possible, authorities said Wednesday.

The suspects weren't identified because they're minors. Authorities would say only that they are residents of Tennessee but not of Sevier County, where the fire caused significant damage and forced the evacuations of thousands of residents around Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Sevier County District Attorney James Dunn said the suspects were being held pending a detention hearing at which a juvenile court judge will decide bond. He said said the suspects could be charged as adults and that other charges were "on the table."

Is there a pool going as to whether or not the juveniles have Mohamed, Sayeed, or Abdul somewhere in there given name?

Tennessee – Juvenile court may transfer the minor for any crime if the minor is sixteen or older. Murder or rape is automatically transferred. A “once an adult always an adult” policy is enforced unless the original case was acquitted, dismissed or reversed.

Now since the little chaps are murderers (not yet charged but they are charged with setting the fires that did kill people so they will eventually be charged with murder) and once they are charged with murder they will automatically be considered adults under the law. If the court so chose they could already consider them adults. Make me go hmmmm......

Yeah Carm, I am waiting for more news.
I don't know of any "pool" LOL, but I see one, I'm in. :D
What a terrible shame. Not only the murders, their families but all the people who lost everything .. and right before Christmas. I hope they all have relatives and/or friends helping them out. I'm sure there is govt assistance but we know how that works.
