Pan-fried kitten: Little Rory has found an unusual favourite spot - in owner Sammy's hanging frying pan
When you pit a tabby with a doppelganger made from his own fur against a kitten who likes to sit in frying pans you know you are going to have a catty competition.
But first they have to beat the fur-less feline gifted with a singing voice, and an 89-year-old ginger tom named King Marmaduke Alibob Chamberlaine.
These cats are all in the running to be crowned the UK’s ‘super mega' cat after their owners entered their photos in an online contest.
Competitor Jeff, owned by office worker Ron Eames, is seen appearing less than pleased to have been given a twin made from his own fur.
Entering his cat in the competition Ron, 27, from Leeds, said: ‘He is so mega, when he gets professionally groomed there is enough fur for a whole other Jeff.
‘He is also a great cuddler and not grumpy as his face suggests.’
As impressive as Jeff is, he may find it hard to beat the extraordinary Reuben Quaker who, according to his owner, talks and sings.
