In case you were wondering, the world's weirdest penis apparently belongs to a kind of hedgehog from Tasmania. The echidna is an oddity to begin with — it eats termites and is a mammal that lays eggs. Even stranger is the male echidna's genitalia. "This extraordinary member has four distinct heads and looks like a stumpy hand with no thumb waving at me," said National Geographic's Lucy Cooke. No one is certain why the echidna has a four-headed penis, though it might be due, as Cooke put it, to females having "two love canals" and a four-chambered penis might act like a "double-barreled shotgun firing out of the two heads on one side." OK, then.
