cks ... CAN YOU talk to your Lily via the phone? Tell her you will be back. That "It's ok... I'll be right back"? They don't understand and think we are gone.

Does she have your slipper or anything she can sleep with? Oh ... I went thru this. Thought it best to leave my Lucy here with my Fiance' when I went back to PA to fixe up my home to sell. He told me when they got back from the airport, SHE TORE THRU THE HOUSE ... even the upstairs 2 bedrooms that we didn't even use!
Try the phone?? See if she will listen...

Good you have family there. She won't feel too ... lost. My Lucy didn't like the phone. Seemed to be afraid of it. I hope Lily won't.

Joni & MM: My avatar is my little guy Riley. He's about 5.5 pounds. He was a pound lighter when I adopted him almost a year ago! He doesn't seem to be too heavy, so I think maybe he's matured into that weight. We've given him a July 4 birthday, so he'll be "officially" 2 on Independence Day.

I don't know exactly what breeds are in there. The animal shelter had him down as part Chihuahua, but I don't see any chi in him. He's definitely got plenty of terrier in there, and I think maybe Maltese. His coat is wiry and just plain odd -- very full in some places and thin in others. I'm thinking about doing one of those DNA kits on him just to see what comes back. He's just a doll and so much fun. Tons of energy and personality. A little on the shy side when we go out, but I would be too if I was that small!!
