Per MSNBC News:

One of those killed was Jessica Ghawi, a sportswriter who survived a June 2 mass shooting at a mall in Toronto in which two people were killed and seven others were injured.

Aurora is a suburb less than 10 miles east of downtown Denver and just 15 miles northeast of Littleton, scene what had been the worst mass shooting in Colorado: the Columbine High School massacre on April 20, 1999, when two gunmen killed 12 fellow students and a teacher and wounded 26 other people before killing themselves.

The victims identified on Saturday were: Jessica N. Ghawi, 24; Veronica Moser-Sullivan, 6; John T. Larimer, 27; Alexander J. Boik, 18; Jesse E. Childress, 29; Jonathan T. Blunk, 26; Rebecca Ann Wingo, 32; Alex M. Sullivan, 27; Gordon W. Cowden, 51; Micayla C. Medek, 23; and Alexander C. Teves, 24.

The coroner said Matthew R. McQuinn, 27, has been presumptively identified and officials are awaiting official identification.

The six year-old child is named Veronica but her mother hasn't been told of her death. Mom is a shooting victim, shot in throat and abdomen.

People who knew Colorado theater shooting suspect are baffled

The suspect in the Colorado shooting Friday was described as a shy but polite, highly intelligent young man with a gift for science. He grew up in an affluent suburb of San Diego, played soccer and ran cross-country in high school, and graduated with honors at UC Riverside with a degree in neuroscience.

My daughter's friends and their son were there but said they were in one of the best places in the theater to get out fast. They were okay but just shocked.

This is an emotional repeat of the shooting at Columbine High School. To think there are 12 bodies of young people in morgues in Aurora makes me sick.

Thanks for the clarification. Wow....it looks like we have a lot more ugliness in store to watch happen. Should be interesting to see all the people trying to $cash$ in on this tragedy.
