Post subject:  Any Dave Robicheaux fans?
I first read James Lee Burke in 1998. After my brother in law let me borrow Cadillac Jukebox. I now own every novel ever written by JLB though I have a penchant for the Dave Robicheaux series. In fact, since I have always had to wait for new books, I have resisted reading the last two books in the series and I actually have a glut of excellent entertainment waiting. :91

Thank you for making use of the "Books" forum.

I don't do much reading at the moment. I used to do a lot.... and have commented a little.

I do though, hope others respond here and we make a go of this forum.

I am not much of a reader and never was really (though I enjoy being a newzjunky online).
JLB writes with such descriptive language that you feel like you're sitting in the Louisiana bayou.
Helps that the Dave Robicheaux character and his sidekick are a couple of kick a** and take names later type crime fighters dealing with the scum of the earth. Makes for some great reading for those of us less inclined to pick up a book.
