If your idea of body painting consists of dabbing on some stars and rainbows for Lollapalooza, Craig Tracy's genius will take you to a whole new level. The New Orleans painter creates astonishing, surreal, beautiful works of art, and his canvases are his volunteers' bodies. He’ll spend days planning his concept, and then another nine hours in the painting process, rendering strange, detailed visions of nature before photographing his subjects. Which is good, as each masterpiece will ultimately end up swirling down the drain.

Amazing Photos.

Complicated sort of art.... all the prep and effort to do the painting... but ultimately it can only survive and be viewed as a photograph
