S&G were some of 1st albums i bought. Having only bought a few albums (at school no money) I joined "Phillips Record Club"... mail order LP's.. you got 3 albums for price of 1 (I think?) for signing up

My 3 were:
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Black Sabbath
Uria Heap

I had some crappy part-time jobs.. this song often went through my mind....

Whenever I hear Black Sabbath I have to smile. My oldest sister was dating a fellow into Black Sabbath, they stopped by for a visit at the house and my middle sister was listening to Wings so my "cool" sister was embarrassed and apologized to the boyfriend for the assault of "bubblegum music"

Well there was much female shrieking and screaming and "How dare you this and how dare you that!" It is such a funny memory for me because my parents literally never yelled so they had these two Tasmania Devil daughters screeching about the merits of Black Sabbath and the dignity of Wings

And "How dare you call Wings bubblegum music"

Anyhow I just sat there reading
