Hi Carm.. Maybe... but Davy Jones accent (sounds like from London to me) is VERY different to the Scottish accent of Fran Healy (Travis singer)

The few Dylan songs available on YT are covers by others or "live" versions.. not versions I am looking for..

The Golden Earring song at 19mins could give problems.. but other links work ok for me.
Like many sites there are initial "pop-ups" to be ignored.

I googled Davy.. born in Manchester... I KNOW Manchester accents (in-laws).. that's not him.. I think he affected a London accent.

At the time of the Monkeys.... English (Liverpool) accents were "in fashion"

These two songs and Just like a Woman alway remind me of a wonderful summer when I was good friends with my older cousins best friend. We would sing songs about women all the time. He called me Giggles and everyone thought we would get married one day (except us ) Anyhow instead of saying Goodbye, we would say, "You know that I can't live without you ." so perhaps we fed into the speculation

I can't tell the different dialects apart, in fact I had to have subtitles for the movie Kes because their accent were so strong and there were common phrases that I didn't know.

I believe that crazy women are a hazard to you Welsh fellows, honestly there were more underwear flying around than at a Victoria's Secret clearance sale. The guy was a grandpa with his grandson (maybe two at the time ) was dancing on the stage and women were still going crazy. I just sat quietly in my chair thinking about the good stories I could tell my friends the next day.

Thankfully my mom was somewhat inhibited plus it was Chicago, a private venue so a blind eye was turned and I could drink booze as a teenager so it was always a winning night for me

Tom's a Welsh God.. and it's not just the women who worship him... he is legend with tough Welsh guys in Pubs and especially at rugby matches.

I expect Welsh crowds to be singing the "Holy Song" Delilah in about 9 hours when Wales take on South Africa at Rugby World Cup
