Badfinger were amongst the groups I listened to back in the day.. There was the Beatles link plus the Welsh thing  At the same time I was a fan of Nilsson and the song "Without You" but it was only within last few years that I learned that the "Nilsson Hit" was in fact a Badfinger song... written and performed by them.... the International hit I heard was the Nilsson version. Oh my gosh, this is all so interesting. Their source of food -- the apple tree then signing with Apple label. Many ironies in their lives. And so very sad. There is always something or someone to live for. Nice rare find.
