Kim Wilde's dad, Marty had a few hits too..... :cool

He did cover versions of the early USA rock and roll songs.... so his version often better known in UK
Also had a hit in the 60's with "Abergavenny"... a real place...... village near where I was born. :)

The Fox News feed I get includes little "Extras" in gaps where ads shown in USA... often music items from shows like Fox and Friends. Getting repeated at the moment are a few songs by Richie Furay (ex Buffalo Springfield and Poco).. he is obviously still going.. plays guitar and sings well ;)
One song featured is "Kind Woman" which he did back in the Buffalo Springfield days

And... I saw this at YT... never heard Whiskey Boot Hill.. by itself... it is part of the "Country Girl" Meddly thing on DejaVu... possibly first time I hooked on to NY was that song.. and it remains (one of) my fave(s)

Friday night in a little town. :roll All the Texicans have their stereos cranked up, so I had to close the sunroof and turn mine up. Two songs I heard I wanted to post, can't find the name of the other one. :77

Also, wish I had my camera with me. Was behind a jacked-up truck with what looked like tractor tires. I have a big car and I could ALMOST drive under it. Had those "balls" hanging from the trailer hitch, hologram Jesus decals all over and some Spanish sayings. It really needed a parade permit. :)
