Remain options..."Soft Brexit" are analogous to "soft rape"
UK still continues to be screwed by the EU (against their will)

Parliament Brexit Circus......

Quote:
Wednesday, April 3 Currently penciled in for a third round of indicative votes in the Commons if Mrs May still has not got her deal through and there is no majority for any of the alternatives.

Thursday, April 4 By-election in Labour-held Newport West.

Wednesday, April 10 An emergency summit of EU leaders in Brussels which will consider any request by Mrs May for a further extension to the Article 50 withdrawal period – which will mean the UK participating in European elections.

Friday, April 12
The deadline for Mrs May to agree a way forward with the EU if she still has not got her deal through or see Britain leave in a no-deal Brexit.

Wednesday, May 22 Still Mrs May’s target date for leaving before the start of elections to the European Parliament, but only if she has a deal first.

Brexit Farce - CNN Live updates

https://edition.cnn.com/uk/live-news/br ... index.html

There was a vote on whether to do more stupid indicative votes.. Again on Monday.

It was tied 310 to 310 :doh

Bercow had to break the tie... by voting NO. :95

So today is taken over by the no-deal ban instead of indicative votes... and Monday is not open to the house generally... there may be some Government indicative votes put forward.

Now debating proposal by Labour MP Yvette Cooper... dozy remoaner bint wants to make "no-deal" ILLEGAL :doh

Image

No deal is not fair to British people, says Cooper

Frst reading scraped through by 311 votes to 310
The second reading 315 to 310.
:eek

There is a plan to now get through Committee stages, and a 3rd reading... alll done today.
Then off to House of Lords (rubber stamp) and Royal ascent.
---------------
I just head some bloke describe the Bill as VERY poorly drafted. He makes the point that if this Bill makes withdrawal from EU impossible for a length of time (5 years)... it will COST the UK penalties paid to EU... 90 Billion pounds. :doh
Leftists virtue signalling never consider the real costs.

Moves to 3rd reading Ayes 313, Noes 312
I assume that is it? What a Clusterfuck!!
Passed by majority of 1 vote.... reverses what was sought by 1.4 million majority :wall

This gives HUGE power to EU.
They have already said they will NOT compromise on the "May Deal" (Treaty)... and if they stick to that position they get the deal (That Merkel's gang wrote)
And the EU will love an extension..... if there is extension the UK have to pay the EU (billions per month)

Looks like May is sending a draft new deal to Corbyn... her treaty combined with his Marxist stuff :doh

But wait there's more...... a SECOND REFERENDUM... offering this deal or REMAIN!! :wall

UK's only hope is EU... rejecting the new deal and refusing an extension. (very small hope)

May needs UK Parliament to pass the "May Corbyn abomination" and IF it passes there, take it to EU for them to pass it... or maybe just give an extension for her to make a few amendments they want :roll

I REALLY hope EU is fed up with all this.

Donald Tuske (President of the European Council) has drawn up a 1 year "flexible extension" :doh

APPARENTLY - talks between May and Corbyn turned to custard!! :lol

In 1975 Britain had a referendum to remain in the EU (EEC), after joining in 1973 they let the people decide if they continued.... I remember it well :cool
Unfortunately the voters went for it (67% to 33%)... not knowing what it was all about.. let alone what it would devolve into.

Batten absolutely ruled out Tommy Robinson as a UKIP MEP candidate. Also pretty much confirmed that Sargon will be on UKIP MEP list (as I predicted months ago)... it remains to be seen how high he ranks

France, Spain and Belgium 'ready for no-deal Brexit next week'

Chance of May getting 30 June extension appear slim after notes of EU meeting emerge

France has won the support of Spain and Belgium after signalling its readiness for a no-deal Brexit on 12 April if there are no significant new British proposals, according to a note of an EU27 meeting seen by the Guardian.

The diplomatic cable reveals that the French ambassador secured the support of Spanish and Belgian colleagues in arguing that there should only be, at most, a short article 50 extension to avoid an instant financial crisis, saying: “We could probably extend for a couple of weeks to prepare ourselves in the markets.”

The chances of Theresa May’s proposal of an extension to 30 June succeeding appeared slim as France’s position in the private diplomatic meeting was echoed by an official statement reiterating its opposition to any further Brexit delay without a clear British plan.

The last "Referendum" on Europe, lead by Germany, usurping Sovereignty over Great Britain, ended decisively in 1945.
(SPOILER: It did NOT end well for Germany)

BREXIT SHOCK: Legal expert says UK ‘has ALREADY LEFT EU’ because Brexit delay is ILLEGAL
THE UK is no longer a member of the EU and delaying Brexit is illegal, a former appeal judge has shockingly claimed.
By Laura Mowat

The date the UK was meant to leave the Brussels bloc was March 29 but an extension has been granted until April 12. However, English Democrats leader Robin Tilbrook claims the new exit date should have been passed by the House of Commons and the House of Lords before it was approved. Mr Tilbrook has launched a High Court battle claiming the UK has already left the EU and in the judicial review application, the English Democrats claim that Mrs May did not have the power to extend the exit date past March 29.

He told the Daily Mail: “If the argument is correct, then it would mean that, under UK law, we left the EU last Friday at 11pm.

“The Treaties would no longer be binding and the UK would no longer be subject to EU law.
“The argument obviously becomes much more important if there is any attempt at a longer "extension", but, logically, if the argument is correct, then any attempt at a further extension would be a legal nonsense as the UK would already be "out”.

Four Tory MPs also wrote to Mrs May last weeks suggesting delaying Brexit in the way she did was illegal.

One of those MPs, Bill Cash, said: “We ask that you fully explain the actions taken by your Government and why you say that what it has done and is doing is legal.

“We are gravely concerned that you are unlawfully seeking to extend the UK's membership of the EU.”

A spokesman for the Department for Exiting the European Union said: “As a matter of international law, the date of the UK's exit from the EU was changed following the decision of the EU Council held on 22 March and the exchange of letters between the UK and EU on 25 March.

“We reflected this change in domestic law when we made the relevant statutory instrument on Thursday 28 March.”

The Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl told the Today programme today it is "very difficult to imagine" how an extension beyond the European elections is "feasible" and warned the EU27 may oppose to it.

See... all this nonsense about "crashing out" and "falling off a cliff" and "Britain becoming a vagina??" and....
UK have been out over a week and nobody even noticed :lol

Seriously there is NO REASON why it has to be any different when the Politicians do trigger some date. Just carry on and change things gradually.... no more MEP and UK euro-bureaucrats in Brussels... no more sacks of cash sent to Brussels... simple!

When Theresa May came back with The EU Deal offer...

And it was poorly received even by her own Cabinet (Ministers resigned) she could have rejected it herself at that point. I guess it was fair enough for her to try and "sell it" to her wider group of members in the House and have a vote on it... but even there she got indications that it was not widely acceptable, but went into "denial mode" and delayed a vote (for a month?) It was eventually REJECTED in the worse Parliamentary defeat ever. AT THAT POINT she should have finally rejected it herself... and told the EU it was DEAD!!! They may (or may not) have offered something better, but even if they refused to budge, May herself had said "No-deal is better than a bad deal", and that option should NEVER have been "taken off the table". This is all standard, basic, common sense negotiation technique ("The Art of The deal") Is May really as stupid as she appears to be? To keep putting the SAME DEAL up for a Parliamentary vote a second, let alone a third (forth?) time is insane. "The Deal" is not "in need of input from Jeremy Corbyn" (or anybody else). It does not need small "amendments" (that EU have indicated already they will not accept). It has been resoundingly REJECTED by UK Parliament 3 friggin times. No other offer was forthcoming from the EU (why would they do that with May destroying Brexit for them). We simply DO NOT need another treaty.. a de facto UK WRITTEN CONSTITUTION (like the Rome Treaty). Personally I don't understand what a "Deal" might involve, other than making it a "Part-brexit"... or "Remain (mostly)"). The details of Trade and all the many agreements Sovereign nations make between each other are still in place with the EU as they are with nations around the world that the UK interacts with. Details like fight access for instance, are sorted. Unless EU Brussels Bureaucrats have a tantrum, Trade will go on under existing terms. Individual EU nations are not going to stop multi-million pound trade orders that they have invested in and fought for and won with UK (either buying or selling) No deal was reached by 29th March. Brexit should be "in force" now. If there is sanity, (WTO) Brexit will happen 12th April.

It is remoaners in Parliament (from all parties) that have made the PROCESS of getting Brexit enacted so fraught and acrimonious.. and yes, difficult... and a failure (so far), but remoaners are being obtuse when they say "see we told you Brexit would be complicated and hard". We have NOT got Brexit yet so nobody yet knows how hard (or easy) it will turn out to be. The Remoaners are still "catastrophizing" (as they do) :roll
