Interesting letter from Witness #8 (Exhibit B). She was so close to Trayvon, that she spelled his name 'Trevon'. Just sayin'...

"Trayvon Martin's family attorney Benjamin Crump discusses Robert Zimmerman's tweets on Starting Point this morning and comments on the content of an interview from "witness 9," revealed to be a cousin of George Zimmerman."

So big mouth is back, did he know he was off the hook?? Time for him to stir the pot again.

Maybe it's me, but has the whole world gone mad? Why is RZ still tweeting stuff to cause controversy?
Am I missing something?

More exculpatory evidence, inconsistent with later versions of the W8 story. Is this the 1st disclosure of this exculpatory evidence to the defense?

Is it usual for the State still to be disclosing discovery at a date so late as to make it impossible to consider such discovery, evaluate it, and determine whether the discovery compels the need for additional witnesses?

Chip, according to the discovery packet, the Defense first got the letter on March 15th, 2012.

Not usual, but I have seen it happen, particularly in high profile cases where a lot is at stake. It is prosecutorial hardball tactic. There is a lot at stake here. The advent of the internet and email has somewhat curbed such practice. Years ago when the only alternatives were FedEx or a messenger service, it was more egregious.

Am I mistaken, or does the case detail report say that Judge Nelson issued an order extending the deadline to file final witness lists?

De la Rionda's pleading, said Orlando attorney Diana Tennis, read as if it were crafted by someone who "writes it drunk at 2 a.m."

Bill Sheaffer, Orlando lawyer and analyst for WFTV-Channel 9, said it was "over the top and … not professional."

She is one of the worst news person I have seen in a long time. She has always been just a "walking cliche" and usually just parrots talking points. Very little understanding in any of her interviews.

And disclosed to the defense via Discovery Supplement the Thirteenth, on 27 March 2013: the very same day that final witness lists were due, per court order. Can't the defense appeal this latest ruling regarding Crump to an appeals court? That's what they did to get rid of the first judge.

Something weird is happening.. I am TRYING to fix it I think..... Server company has stuffed up in a way that has happened before.... when they migrated to a new server... RT was for a time operating in two locations.. two separate copies of the site... posts done on the "Old site" are now lost... very confusing... Please dont continue to post about missing posts etc... nothing I can do about it. ASSUMING - this is now the New server location for RT Posts done recently may have been on old server.. now lost... sorry
