Hearing Friday over George Zimmerman's medical records SANFORD -- Attorneys in the George Zimmerman will go back to court Friday over a subpeona for records that the defense wants to keep out of the prosecution's hands. Prosecutors filed a subpeona for records from Altamonte Family Practice in Altamonte Springs. It's not known why they want the documents. But Zimmerman's attorneys are objecting to the move. They say the documents are privileged records and totally irrelevant to the case. They also accused the state of releasing too much information to the public without regard for relevance or privacy. George Zimmerman is charged with the second-degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin back in February. Zimmerman says he shot Martin in self-defense. http://www.cfnews13.com/content/news/cf ... over_.html Zimmerman is not expected to be present at the hearing, which will take place Friday at 8:30 a.m. |

Lester... wants to see Medical Records first... in sealed envelope... then decide what to release.. talk to both sides again... makes sense... all agree. NOW Motion for Zim to leave county. LDBR... no objection to visiting elsewhere... eg Orange county Lester... allow to visit lawyer in Orange county... but need a plan if he wants to move residence etc |

Lester not happy with Zimmerman getting much freedom of movement.... GZ allowed to visit two lawyers only in Orange County... and has to provide specific Itinerary. |

Recap: 13 minute hearing zimmerman can go to Orange County to visit attys, but otherwise needs courts permission. Prosecutors already have medical records related to Zimmerman’s injuries from the night he killed Prosecutors: “we have 3 pages of records that show, maybe he suffered an injury, maybe he did not Judge Lester: Records need to come to me in a sealed document. Will be reviewed first |
