The twitter Sewer just exploded with news that GZ arrested... they are loving it of course.

I went looking for RELIABLE confirmation and details.....


Authorities called to disturbance involving George Zimmerman in Seminole County

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Channel 9 has confirmed the Seminole County Sheriff's Office has been called to a disturbance involving George Zimmerman on Monday.

The disturbance is at a residence on Topfield Court in unincorporated Apopka, although authorities haven't said what that disturbance involves.

No other details have been released.

Seminole deputies arrest George Zimmerman

George Zimmerman has been arrested and is en route to the Seminole County Jail, according to Sheriff Don Eslinger.

It's not clear what happened or what crime he's accused of committing, but just before 1:30 p.m., Eslinger confirmed that Zimmerman had been arrested today and was being driven to the county jail in Sanford.

He said more information would be available shortly.

WESH-Channel 2 reported that Zimmerman was accused of domestic violence by a girlfriend.

The Sheriff's Office, in a short news release, reported that the agency had arrested Zimmerman after being called to a disturbance on Topfield Court in western Seminole County near Apopka.

Hi, Taurus... my first thought was "George..... you have to stop doing this" He needs to drop OFF the radar.... just sit back and wait for the lawsuit payouts that will inevitably come. Perhaps work on a book... it will earn him millions.

Yes, Unitron... likely a much needed boost in Freddie's patronage (and perhaps donations)... but to be fair.. Random Topics could do with a boost too... and I see a few "prodigals" returning :)

For people attracted back by GZ news..... There is always the Wafer/McBride case.... it has some parallels to the GZ case...

I assume... "no bail" means not set or paid yet.... they can't lock him up for ever :)

George Zimmerman has been arrested in Orlando, FL after allegedly attacking his pregnant girlfriend, law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

According to law enforcement sources -- which have been involved with the Zimmerman case since day one and have always been reliable -- Zimmerman got physical with his girlfriend earlier today, who claimed she was pregnant.

Since she's pregnant, we're told the domestic violence charge is automatically listed as a felony. The Seminole County Sheriff's website says Zimmerman is not eligible for bail.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Zimmerman JUST arrived to a local jail and is currently being booked into the system.

Zimmerman has had multiple run-ins with cops ever since he was acquitted back in July of murdering 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

George Zimmerman, who was acquitted this summer of murdering teenager Trayvon Martin, has been arrested in Florida after deputies responded to a "disturbance call."

Zimmerman, 30, was arrested by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office at about 1 p.m. today, authorities said.

He will be transported and booked into the John E. Polk Correctional Facility.

No further details were immediately available.
