Post subject:  POLL: What was the funniest/ daftest part of the Case.

I am prepared to start such a poll... just for fun.

Poll is not in place yet. I am open to suggestions. I will update this working list so come back to this post to see progress. :)

What was the funniest/daftest part of the Case.

I can list up to 10 options, please suggest what they should be:

1. BDLR leading interview of DD
2. BDLR "Drunken" response to sanctions motion
3. The Prosecution "Voice Experts"
4. The "alzeimers" Medical Examiner
5. BDLR refusing to testify at sanctions hearing
6. Mary Cutcher Media interviews
7. Jayne Surdyka on the stand
8. Rachel Jeantel on the stand
9. "In our tickle it" Crump
10 Traybots generally, especially the Cockatoo
11. Lester rulings (GZ a flight risk and Prosecution have "strong case"
12. Nelson blocking Crump Depo
13. Nelson not admitting phone evidence (uncorroborated)
14. Nelson saving BDLR by postponing Sanctions and Judicial inquiry
15. BDLR arm flapping (Courtroom antics)
16. BDLR hiding the color photo of GZ's face injuries for a year.
17. Post trial Corey and BDLR Calling GZ a "murderer" still etc.

Something near the top of the list of craziest information we got from all involved in the trial was the "whoop azz" remark from the state's 'smoking gun' ear witness.

Covered by "voice experts"? or do you want that specifically? Please give me a option I can list with just a few words. :)

BDLR has been a clown throughout... perhaps his finest comedic moments were introducing ridiculous "voice experts"... or maybe it was the ME who could remember nothing... or maybe the very early entry of BDLR interview with DD... and his leading questions... actually there is so much material it's hard to pick just one.

Maybe we should run a poll?

What could possibly top his written-late-at-night-while-drunk "State's Response to Defendant's Motion for Sanctions"? A true jaw-dropper.

I am open to replacing any we already have..

Even after I set the poll in motion, please feel free to note/discuss any other daft aspects of the case.

Another wacky moment was Jude Lester's assertion, based on almost zero evidence, that GZ was intending to take the money and flee.

And who can forget how Judge Nelson's decision to not allow Crump's deposition didn't even mention, much less respond to, the defense argument that Crump had waived the work-product privilege?

Yes... and that reminds me .... Nelson ruling phone evidence was "uncorroborated".

I'd vote for BDLR flailing his arms, akin to a Dodo bird preparing for flight (I'm assuming they were capable of flight), during the 10/2012 State's motion for gag order.
I've watched it a few times with the sound muted & BDLR's animated gestures had me chuckling.

BDLR arm flapping was a running gag :) I'll include BDLR arm flapping ... generally.

Nearly ready to launch the poll

I enjoyed seeing Judge Lester fuming "he's not allowed to sit there like a potted plant", I was glad their trap to ensnare George with a perjury charge was unsuccessful.

I wonder howmany noteable quotes arose out of the State's persecution against George Zimmerman.
I'd like to see Coreypotamus at least taken to task for her post defeat quote describing George as a murderer.

IMHO: #11 was a concerted State & Court attempt to ensnare George with trumped up perjury charges for the intent of revoking & then denying George bail.
Although I'm aware attorney/client conversations are confidential, I somewhat suspect their goal was enabling the State to illegally monitor or record all communication between George & his legal representation.
It's akin to playing poker with an opponent whose cards are dealt face up on the table.

As part of the DeeDee leading interview, BDLR allowing Sybrina Fulton to be present during the interview. That's almost impossible to fathom.
