WHOOP!!! The Washington Times has put out an article about the cover-up of TMs legal troubles.

Trayvon Martin's Legal Troubles Reportedly Covered Up By Police

MSM reportedly didn't do their homework.

Puzzler - poor Austin had his mother go on tv and basically call him a liar and/or stupid. And she's not even a party to the lawsuits. Guess what he's being taught, other than to lie?

The local news just stated that John's testimony didn't help GZ because he never saw TM strike GZ. I would have to say that the wounds show that the arm motions were in fact striking GZ and inflicting damage.

Looks like yesterday's revelations are changing minds, local news this morning reported that Serino believed GZ was telling the truth when he gave his statements on what occurred that night.

I bet the worms are twisting and squirming. :98 :wall :TF :59

I also noticed the Freddie Leatherhead gang has taken to fighting amongst themselves specially if anyone mentions any kinks in the prosecution's armor.......... :Gslap :lol :slap

IANAL

But my guess is the "mandate" means that MOM can go ahead and Depose Crump.... time for any appeal passed?

It means the order is final.

Yes, there was a period of time during which the order could have been appealed. The order is now final and the DCA issued a mandate which requires Nelson to abide by the DCA's ruling.

Thanks... that's what I figured.

So... could they have deposed Crump before now, or did they need to wait for this. It was dated 27th.... so they could have deposed Crump by now.

They could have deposed Crump prior to finality of the order if State / Crump agreed. Defense may have intentionally waited until after RJ's trial testimony, which conflicts with Crump's affidavit. Depending on what is said during Crump's deposition, you may see the defense call Crump to the stand to further impeach RJ, and perhaps Sybrina.

I would say yes due to the fact it's a Federal Holiday.

Chip, I stepped away (yes, again!). Were there any double secret things going on in court after your last post in the trial thread?
