I have to believe that the prosecutors actually knew everything the defense said about their "experts" was true.

I fully believe the prosecutors know they're trying to put an innocent man away in prison.

That's pretty twisted.

Jurors will listen to a recording of the chilling 911 call that captured the distant, fearful cries in the vicious outdoor fight between George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin.

But the jury in the closely-watched case won’t hear from two prosecution audio experts who suggested that the voice screaming out in fear belongs to Trayvon, a Seminole County judge ruled Saturday in a decision some legal observers called a significant blow to the prosecution two days before the trial opens.

Testimony from the experts, Tom Owen and Alan Reich, both of whom analyzed a 911 call made by a neighbor, could have been important evidence for state prosecutors because it would have helped portray Zimmerman as the aggressor.

I may dislike Ed Primeau but in putting this video together, he proved once and for all what I'd known for a year+ - it is George screaming.

The defense should play this video or their own recreation of it:

They also KNOW they are pandering to BGI and it's extortion operatives in the Scheme team. They are in fact using Crump et al to promote their case in the media... propaganda.. aimed at inflaming passions in the public. Promoting racial disharmony.

With Owen and Reich out, that leaves the state with Sybrina, Tracy who originally said it wasn't TM™, and TM™'s brother who said he wasn't sure, among other less close relatives and/or friends. And who knows how many others initially expressed uncertainty about the voice in the recording.

On the other hand, GZ's father and brother were certain it was GZ and we can expect his mom and sis were likewise certain. On top of that, at least two neighbors indicated they recognized the screams as being the voice of GZ. Pretty powerful stuff.

I have to add, again, how pleased I am that Owen will not likely be providing false testimony in the future. Not only was he excluded in this case, but the reasons he was excluded are damning to any hope of resurrecting an expert qualification in future cases, imo.

The defense just spent 5 days in court and thousands of dollars to keep so called experts like these out. Primeau says nothing in that video that says it's George but even if he had he'd still be wrong. The science just doesn't exist to say what screams belong to who.

The fact that Primeau made that video isn't even relevant to the point I'm making. Wouldn't matter if the resurrected foot of Saddam Hussein had made the video, it contains an assembly of publicly available audio that anyone could've made, from the exemplar and the screams in the 911 call. It's pretty clear that its' George screaming when those are listened to side by side.

I agree with what the defense did in the Frye hearing, playing audio *like* this (not this same one but make something very similar themselves) would go a long way toward proving to the juror's satisfaction that it was George.

That's an entirely different animal than what Owen and Reich were doing. Owen was claiming his computer program spat out a number that proved it wasn't GZ, and Reich was engaging in EVP Ghost Hunter senility nonsense.

This is entirely something else. Taking existing, accepted pieces of evidence (the exemplars and the 911 screams) and playing them together for comparison sake. Nothing voodoo about it, nothing questionable about it. Don't kneejerk react to Primeau's name I hate him too. The only reason I even linked anything from him is that he happened to be the person who combined the audiofiles. I could do it again myself and the point would still stand.

You're right to say "the science doesn't exist" and I agree. What I agree though, is that there is no surefire method or computer program which can say with certainty whose screams they are. That's not what I'm talking about at all here. I'm talking about letting the jury hear the audio in a more effective format: mixed together. I don't know if the rules of court would allow that... but if not, they could surely play the exemplar and the 911 screams back to back, which might help make the point too.

Nelson saved him from great embarrassment and anguish. He would have had to be treated for PTSD after watching West destroy Owen and Reich at trial.

That's funny Geosurface because the other side says the opposite, play the exemplars for the jury and they will be able to easily tell it's not George.

I wonder if the defense or State will even use the exemplars or if there would be any challenges to such use. I would have to ask the lawerly types for that stuff though.
