I think they teach Gun Kata's at that gym if BDLR isn't mistaken

Apparently George is now a ninja because he trained at a gym that also had fight training.

Maybe it's just me, but no matter how much ability to fight anyone credits George with, it means they have to then give any young man that kicked his azz credit for a greater ability to fight.

Oh, please. They are so desperate. :doh

George could have joined a gym precisely because he has a weight problem.

GZ must have slept through the "blocking incoming attacks" and "prevent take downs" classes at the gym as he got seriously owned in those areas by TM. I do believe he's very lucky that he had a concealed weapon to fend off this attack.

Well one of the things on the site does say learn to fight without getting hit. So he might not have known how to block a hit.

Now, I try not to speculate on things that have no basis but there is a strong possibility that the commenter on that post is right. So if Trayvon needed a lighter, could he have either lifted the lighter or had the stooges buy it for him?

That's assuming he even enrolled in any instructional courses. He could have just gone for general fitness (e.g. to lose weight). For all we know, he could have bought a membership and never used it. Or maybe he bought it when he was working as a bouncer, and used it to lift weights.

Could be anything.

But even if he took fighting classes: what does that possibly prove?

That he's a poor student? Oh wait, we already knew that.

I agree. Where did the lighter come from and how come it's never mentioned?

The assumption is that he already had the lighter when he went to the 7-11.

But who's to say?

I suspect it was back when he was a bouncer and even then strength training rather than fight instruction.

Gov. Scott signed into law the Daubert Standard. Will this effect our case?

I would think it would benefit defense.

Richard Hornsby covered that in a recent "Blawg"

Moving the Goalposts Mid-Trial
There is only one problem; the Frye standard would still be the current law! Why, because the effective date for House Bill 7015 is July 1, 2013! Talk about Moving the Goalposts.

And given that the Zimmerman trial, including jury selection, is scheduled to last about two months it is entirely possible that the State’s expert witnesses could be qualified and presented under the Frye standard before July 1, 2013; but the defense expert witnesses could be presented after July 1, 2013 and subjected to the more restrictive Daubert standard.

So.... as things stand conditions favour Prosecution when trial opens 10th June..... no wonder they do not want a delay... past 1 July especially.

As caring people we should make some plans of what to do to help the poor Traybots once the TRUTH comes out.....

I propose....

"The Rumpole's Mole Home for incurable Traybots"

:DN4 take all your overgrown infants away somewhere
and build them a home a little place of their own
the "Rumpole's Mole"
home for incurable Traybots and Cretins
and they can post to themselves every day
in a closed forum sewer
to make sure they're still real
it's the only connection they feel
:DN4

Well, well, well, surprisingly, the comments seem to show support for GZ. Good.

And yes, the article was indeed "pathetic." What is particularly disgusting is the clean-up of Tracy Martin's musical-chair game of wives, fiancees, girlfriends and kids (oh, my!). :roll
