That's a really good reason to give in light of the circumstances of this railroading case!

LATEST UPDATE FROM GZ LEGAL DEFENSE:

LARGE DONATIONS SPUR DEFENSE FUND!

A handful of large donations have bolstered the Zimmerman Defense Fund, bringing the total raised in a week to more than $77,000. This week’s surge in donations has allowed us to to pay outstanding liabilities, which were in excess of $20,000, and make significant investments in deposition transcripts and experts.

We have important hearings Thursday and Friday of this week, and jury selection for the trial begins on Monday. During trial, the Zimmerman defense team will be “all hands on deck,” and there will be additional operational expenses. We also anticipate increased security expenses during trial.

The support we have received in the last week has given us hope that we will be able to meet our goal of $120,000.

I could have made myself look really prescient yesterday. I had actually typed out a comment to the effect of, I wonder when we'll see a motion in limine from the defense to prohibit use of terms such as "profiled" unless/until based on facts in evidence. But then I deleted it, because part of the defense strategy could be to dare the State to make such allegations, which would open the door to Martin's tox report, and possibly his history of fighting.

That information is beyond the ken of us mere mortals.

Why do they list Price William County in Maryland when it is in Virginia? GZ left Virginia about 10 years ago, IIRC. So that would be around the timehe was working out andapplied for any LE position, right?

Sorry, I found Kokopelli's in FL.

Considering the analogy this case and a game of poker.

I think Bernie is bluffing... he started with nothing much... possible draw to a non-royal inside straight....but like a bad poker player he bet heavily on the hope of drawing and completing the straight. It was a bust... his hand is NOTHING... 9 high!

He should have folded when he was raised.. but he kept going... he is doomed. The more he continues to see or raise the bet the more he loses.

Unfortunately, MOM is not much of a poker player either. He has some good cards.. almost certainly a winning hand... but he is limiting himself by refusing to include any spades cards. If he had the ace of diamonds and the ace of spades... he would slip the spades ace under the table and not include it... Spades might be seen as Raciss!!!

I wish it was analogous to a bridge tournament, where we could see the same case played over with a different lawyer.

The Turn Of A Friendly Card

:DN4 There are unsmiling faces and bright plastic chains
And a wheel in perpetual motion
And they follow the races and pay out the gains
With no show of an outward emotion

And they think it will make their lives easier
For God knows up till now it's been hard
But the game never ends when your whole world depends
On the turn of a friendly card
No the game never ends when your whole world depends
On the turn of a friendly card
:DN4

Apparently George is now a ninja because he trained at a gym that also had fight training. It is amazing how George has such talent when it can be used to vilify him but he is also seen as a dullard who couldn't pass course and such. I have never seen someone who is so amazing and so inept at the same time.

And we still don't know how long ago this was, how long did he go there, what did he do while there, etc. Remember that the medical reports showed that his BMI makes him technically obese and he had a back problem. So I doubt that any of this was very recent.

After you read this pathetic (Julison) article from MSNBC, please read the comments - specifically comment #11.
