I saw the photo posted at CTH. It looks genuine, but who knows these days with photo-shopping?

I can't get too excited about it anyway. It is certainly true that Obama chose to wade in on this case.. as did many Black politicians.

This is a photo of George Zimmerman taken by a police officer on the night of February 26, 2012. A black and white photocopy of this image was provided by the State in the first Discovery. This high-resolution digital file was finally provided to the defense on October 29, 2012. This image was disclosed in the State's 9th Supplemental Discovery. In accordance with the updates to our media policy that we published on November 13, we will be making all public documents related to the case available on our website, including the rest of the State's 9th Supplemental Discovery as soon as we are sure it has been properly redacted according the the Court's stipulations on protecting information regarding specific witnesses.

JQ has their forum locked up so the general public isn't reading the crap they put out there. CTH on the otherhand is very public so I think it is a bit disingenuous of them to continue to use a questionable photo that may or may not have been photoshopped or otherwise edited.

What bothers me, as a Democrat, is that there is always some effort to connect The Obamas to Fulton/Martin regardless of how tenable. I agree that the POTUS should not have made that one statement before any of the evidence was released. Dumb in my books but I have never seen the entire PC. Only the quote so I don't know what the context is or how the question was asked. Was it a question thrown out there as he was leaving? Was there more discussion about it? Apparently, it was never an issue important enough to be raised during the debates. I should look for it but really...sometimes I can't be bothered.

Seriously, I have been on a rant all day about this case. I tweeted that if Zimmerman were black and being railroaded by the MSM and by race-baiting insurgents, the Global Grind would have been all over it. And I am pissed that one minority is considered to be the "better minority" than another and how much that is emphasized.

Civil Rights for one does not negate the Civil Rights of another. Nor is Justice built on the backs of innocent people.

I am taking my crabby self to work. Poor them.

The Revealing – A Race-Baiting Constructed Story, Turned Political Case,
Against George Zimmerman, Now Coming Apart….

The defense team for George Zimmerman released the full color photograph of George Zimmerman’s initial injuries received from 17-year-old Trayvon Martin on the night of 2/26/12. George Zimmerman shot Trayvon in self defense. However, the highly politicized -State Special Prosecutor- Angela Corey charged him with 2nd degree murder.



Prior to today only the Black and White version (below) was released by the State of Florida. It appears the State of Florida is reluctant to release information which deconstructs their case.



A few media outlets are reporting on the latest discovery updates to the case which seem damaging to the prosecution case.

Race manipulator Russell Simmons, who owns The Global Grind, a black and hip-hop news outlet, had formerly publicly announced his advocacy for the Trayvon Martin Family story.

This aforementioned “story” is coming apart at the seams as truthful discovery begins to reach sunlight.

The latest developments are:

• The 16-year-old Trayvon girlfriend, “DeeDee” sold by the media and Trayvon Martin Family as an ear-witness to events, is not who they claimed she was. According to State Documents she is not even 16-years-old. DeeDee became Witness #8 for the proseuction. Her sworn statement, only recently revealed to the defense, highlights the person Benjamin Crump delivered to prosecutors claiming to be DeeDee is in actuality an 18 year old woman.
  
  
• There was at least one additional Law Enforcement officer present in the initial interview with Tracy Martin (Trayvon’s father) at Sanford Police Dept. This officer affirms the investigating detective’s prior statement - Tracy Martin said the voice calling for help on the 911 recording was NOT Trayvon Martin.
  
  
• As with the age of witness #8, the prosecution witheld this discovery from defense attorneys.

Heard you upthread, Rumpole, and that was the picture I had seen over there. Looks authentic but in today's age anything can be manipulated. I've read now where people think GZ's pic is photoshopped.

Have to wonder why they stayed quiet about DeeDee's age.

The really funny part is the idiots now crying "PHOTOSHOPPING" have spent 9 months doing puerile silly photoshop pictures. Amateurish and very poorly done. They have made up imaginary figures in grainy still shots from clubhouse video etc.

Beats me, Mal, but maybe some people's thinkers are screwed up.

I still contend that there is no way anyone will know anything for sure except that there was a physical fight with no opportunity for either to retreat once contact was made, so beyond that all we get is reasonable doubt. But when we hear things like "someone was charged so they must be guilty" it gets scary.

IF this gets to trial.......

I just read Deb reminding people (at TL) that GZ does not require ANY injuries in order to claim self defence... none...nada...zip.

The law is NOT: "take a beating right up until you know you are going to die or sustain serious injuries."

You are allowed to react (with deadly force ) BEFORE you sustain ANY injuries... the (reasonable) belief that you are about to receive such injuries is sufficient.

And it is clear that GZ, or anybody, would have been in fear... in fact GZ PASSED a lie detector test when he stated that he was.

The injuries are a BONUS as far as evidence goes.... they confirm that GZ was in fact SERIOUSLY injured.. and so he went past the point of it just being a reasonable belief... he actually got a beating.

Thank heavens he had a gun and was able to defend himself.

New Zimmerman evidence details his interest in police, alleged racism in Sanford

FBI agents question police on a note from Trayvon Martin shooter's phone concerning 'guided' testimony.

The Orlando Sentinel obtained the latest cache of evidence in the George Zimmerman murder case, including new details of Zimmerman's interest in law enforcement and testimony alleging racism and sexism in the Sanford Police Department.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation documents, part of an ongoing civil-rights investigation into the Feb. 26 shooting in Sanford, include interviews with Sanford police, Zimmerman's neighbors and at least one coworker.

Some of those interviewed said they interacted with Zimmerman in the aftermath of the shooting. As in previously released FBI records, none of those interviewed said they'd known Zimmerman to behave in a racist manner.

The Sentinel obtained the records Tuesday from the office of Special Prosecutor Angela Corey through a public-record request. The names of those interviewed by the FBI were redacted from the documents, in accordance with a judge's order.

Also in the latest evidence is digital copies of photos taken on the night of the shooting, showing Zimmerman's injuries. One of the photos was posted on the defense team's blog on Monday.
