In the old days... they were confined to, at worse, annoying their neighbours with insane rantings... or perhaps just annoying with insane mumbling, that frightened local children.

George Zimmerman and the girlfriend who accused him of domestic violence both went to the Seminole County Sheriff's Dept. today to pick up the guns that were seized after his arrest.

George got his guns back yesterday. Today's outing was to pick up Samantha Scheibe's weapons, which were also seized by cops.

Since the arrest was made, at her residence, does that mean that her address is public knowledge?

Weren't there videos taken? What of those 911 calls, any info within them?

I worry for his safety. George better have location services set to OFF on his iPhone.

911 tapes usually have the address "redacted"... they mute that. I can't say I noticed this time.

George does need to be careful. I don't know if he is still paying for any protection/bodyguard? It did not look like it in the TMZ clip?

(SANFORD, Fla.) -- George Zimmerman has finally picked up his guns from police.

Zimmerman, 30, whose arsenal was confiscated in November following a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, picked up his four firearms, including a shotgun and an assault rifle, from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office in Sanford, Fla., this week.

He was eligible to retrieve the weapons since Dec. 11, when assault charges against him were dismissed.

Zimmerman, perhaps Florida’s most notorious gun owner, picked up the weapons on Tuesday and Wednesday and returned to the sheriff’s office on Thursday with girlfriend Samantha Scheibe, 27, because she also had to retrieve a handgun police seized during the same incident in November.

Returned to Zimmerman were an Interarms .380-caliber handgun, a Glock 19 handgun, a Kel-Tec 12-gauge shotgun and an AR-15 assault rifle.

Scheibe picked up her Taurus 9mm handgun.

George Zimmerman's oil painting snags winning bid of $100,099.99 on eBay

George Zimmerman earned a new title Saturday — professional artist — when eBay bidding ended in six figures on his oil painting.

The winning bid: $100,099.99. It wasn't immediately known who bought Zimmerman's original oil painting showing part of an American flag washed in blue with the words "God," "one nation" and "with liberty and justice for all" printed in the flag stripes.

The painting had received 96 bids from 24 bidders since the auction started Monday, said eBay, which doesn't disclose bidders' names online. Bidding ended at 12:55 p.m. Saturday.

"Whoever wins within the Continental United States, will receive this painting delivered by me personally. Your friend," Zimmerman said on eBay.

A frenzy followed soon after bidding started Monday, driving the offers to nearly $100,000 in a single day.
