West begins questioning the witness about his academic credentials. Wayman has a Ph. D. in acoustic engineering.

Wayman says he worked with the department of defense creating algorithms for speaker recognition.

Wayman says he has four patents, 2 of which pertain to speech compression technology.

It would be a project in itself just for the state's experts to understand what all Wayman's professional and academic credentials are!

This is a bunch of bruhaha about nothing. Now if they could find an expert in common sense, I'd listen to him.

I believe he answers the questions quite well. They must work their way up to WHY he has any opinion about the work of the state's experts.

Maybe that's why they say believe half of what you see and none of what your hear.

The "bruhaha" is the stuff from State shonky witnesses.

This guy clearly knows his stuff and is widely RECOGNISED as an expert. It is important to outline his credentials and experience.... The contrast is SO GREAT... even No No Nanette might have to acknowledge it. Certainly it will be important to do this all again for the jury if the shonky state Charlatans get to give evidence
