A bit of a waste of time. Testifying she did NOT find DNA on swap from shell casing?

NO DNA does not prove no human hand touched the shell casing!

However.............I hope people take the GENERAL point that failure to see something (DNA) does NOT prove anything.

NOT seeing people stashing a gun does NOT prove it never happened!

Pagan says she was not able to eliminate nor identify the casing given for this case, no good markings

Pagan" it would be "very difficult" to identify bullets fired from this (submitted) gun

Pagan says there were grooves and twist on bullets that matched submitted gun so "narrowed down", but nothing further

Pagan now explaining 5 9mm shell casings submitted by JSO. COULD identify as being fired from submitted pistol

Other shell casings found in and on #MichaelDunn's car were also matched to gun in his glove box, acc to Pagan

Pagan says the holster w/ the gun does not have strap, or anything that would cause "extra step" to get gun out

Pagan says firearm was functioning, but thumb safety wasn't operating "as smoothly as it normally would"

The gun has other safeties that were functioning

Pagan says firing the pistol "double action" requires about twice as much force as "single action"

Corey: Does this take a conscious effort to shot a 2nd, 3rd etc bullet from this gun? Pagan: yes

Well, since that is not a requirement in the state of Florida, who cares?

Florida law says the gun must be encased in a vehicle. That means it can be fully loaded, no holster in the glove box and be legal because the glove box is a case. Now if you have a CWP and it is on or about your person, you don't have to have it encased at all.

Strolla: did you ever research the gun's serial number? Are you sure nobody else ever owned it? Pagan: not sure, they don't check serials

Pagan says she never checked to see if it was modified specifically for a "hair trigger", although nothing noticeably off

@sannewache @tjholmes consistently through cross-ex he has questioned the investigation in to the shooting.

Pagan is visibly uncertain why Strolla is asking what he's asking. Right now, q's about sound gunshots make

Pagan: no apparent modifications to make this gun more powerful

Corey: Do any of the questions Strolla asked affect this gun's ability to kill a human being? Pagan: no.
