I'm glad renewsit ask because I would have if she didn't. I was sitting there thinking I missed that.

The only dummy I saw in court was guy..and that heifer making his mouth move.

No news yet...doubt it will be today then. Not a slam dunk case after all.

IMO they can not be analysing evidence this long. It should be a quick decision either way. Accept reasonable doubt and acquit or not.

It must be a hung jury and attempts to make one or two grasp what the evidence is and the law says. Lots of luck with that!!!!

I'm hopeful for the defense, it only takes one holdout to avoid a conviction!

Call me naive... but I would like to think that MOST people would see that the State did not disprove SD and so would vote for aquittal.

The Judges instruction was clear on that.

Any "holdout" would be those basing decision on emotion.. despite being specifically told to NOT do that.

The "an unarmed child is dead and SOMEBODY has to be held accountable" types... he must be guilty of manslaughter at the very least. It is the sort of wilful ignorance I see all the time at the "Gossip Forums". It can not be argued with or persuaded or reasoned with and convinced with a well supported argument... it is Wilful Ignorance, ingrained and imprinted and hard to dissuade once zeroed in on a "victim"

I have just done a "mercy dash" down to local store to get critical supplies (ciggies, Red Bull and Diet Coke(they don’t sell pepsi)).

This store has a small row of parking spaces.... that you drive into.... nose of car towards store... so I parked in much the same way Dunn did.. and coincidentally I had to squeeze in close to a RED 4 wheel drive thing... (not a Durango, but close enough... higher off the ground than my car). I could open my door and get out... but only just. I really did get a good feel for the physical arrangement. Two "menacing teens" in the car Well ...they looked the part, but I did not feel ill at ease... but looking up at guy on passenger side I can imagine. It was a two door thing...but looking back over my shoulder, to where rear seat passenger would be...I could imagine a aggressive guy in the back threatening to kill. I can assure you there is no way I could have fired three bullets straight into the rear side panel (where back door would be), but I could have easily done that with a door even partially open. It was NOT hard at all to picture exactly how things went down with Dunn and the Thugs. I wish Juries could have simple demos like that... just to get an idea... no spin by lawyers from either side... just let them see the geometry of the crime scene.

Jacksonville, FL — It’s the second day of jury deliberations, with only a few questions coming from jurors so far.

Late Wednesday, jurors requested to see the surveillance video from the Gate gas station the night of the shooting in its entirety, about 20 minutes. The video was submitted in to evidence, but because it is played on proprietary software- and therefore technically complicated to play- the attorneys requested the jurors receive special instruction.

I agree Rumpole, I just meant that it only took one holdout to avoid a conviction. Hopefully 11 of them made the right decision, and the only holdout is the guilty one. I don't see how you could not see reasonable doubt in this one. I've served on a couple of juries, one of them a murder trial, and there was at least one juror on each trial that was incapable of using logic, and viewed the trial through an emotional prism. Very frustrating, and as you would suspect, the emotional juror's reached incorrect conclusions,

IF they had a gun they didn't return fire because he was shooting to keep them from doing so, at least that's how I understood it. I think they had something or he truly believed they did...I find it hard to believe he would shoot at these kids nine times for loud music. Everything he said Jordan yelled at him is plausible to me. I have seventy five comments on a blog right now all saying pretty much the same thing. Ill raised and entitled voices. JMO
