Here’s The Story of The McKinney Pool Fiasco

The Origin – The woman who organized the event in McKinney, Texas is named Tatiana Rhodes. She is approximately 19-years-old; however, she retains a fake id and has began scrubbing most of her social media accounts, so her exact age is undetermined.

Tatiana had been promoting a party via twitter under the hashtag name “Dime Piece Cookout” for approximately a month. She planned the event at a sub-division called “Craig Ranch” in McKinney Texas.

Tatiana (pictured below left) lives in the sub-division with her mother Lashana Burkes (pictured right).

The Craig Ranch subdivision has a neighborhood park and a gated pool and clubhouse for residents. The pool and clubhouse is gated and a scan card is needed to gain access. (You an explore via google earth here)

The subdivision has a Homeowners Association (HOA) which regulates and controls the activities in/around the HOA swimming pool and clubhouse and has strict rules for use thereof.

agree Carm, it was so easy just to do what the cop said.....

I saw a black man that lived there , saw the cop was justified, cuz we did not see the fights going on before the recording..once again
there is more to the story, but only a piece of it is being shown to stir crap up....sad time we live in

I was wondering in the beginning why the cop felt a need to pulled his gun. But after seeing more photos today and seeing the two boys sneaking up behind him, before he did it, maybe it was justified. I have faith that the ones doing the investigation will do the right thing under the laws of the great State of Texas. :)

The organizations getting groups to travel there to protest is another thing.
I guarantee LE won't put up with their shit for one minute. Just sayin' :D

exactly Molly, the South don't play that game..lol

and your right you have to watch the video and hear from ppl that were actually there... that cop was out numbered big time..

and kids that age do stupid stuff everyday...

and it goes back to the parents again...TEACH your kids how to respect adults, not only the cops but the ppl that were there before the cops showed up,,they had already been asked to leave...but didn't...kids have no respect any more..

Parents get a GRIP on your kids!!!!

One day after the world was introduced to McKinney Police Cpl. Eric Casebolt, several civil-rights groups and activists are calling for his firing and demanding a Department of Justice investigation into the incident.

“There are few words to describe the inhumanity of McKinney law enforcement and Officer Casebolt’s brutal, unprofessional and discriminatory violence this past weekend,” says ColorOfChange Executive Director Rashad Robinson in a statement sent to the media this afternoon. The civil-rights group — which Fast Company recently named one of the year’s “most innovative companies” for its role in axing NYPD’s “stop and frisk” policing policy — is based out of New York.

“Our hearts go out to all the teens who experienced the terror and pain of unjust treatment at the hands of police, a trauma all too familiar to Black people across the country,” says the statement.

Hi Chiclad :69 and all.

To me it is simply another phony baloney manufactured "crisis" all they had to do was obey the rules, first the HOA rules and then the officers. The officer had every right to defend himself from the two advancing young men, and the officer had every right to detain the screeching antagonistic loud mouth fool who wouldn't comply with a disperse order.

A culture of fools.

McKINNEY — Either racist white residents of Craig Ranch and McKinney police harassed neighborhood black kids at a pool party Friday — or law officers safely dispersed a loud, out-of-control mob of interloping teenagers.

Those were the competing narratives circulating Monday about an incident that has become a national flashpoint about racism and police tactics.

Some white Craig Ranch residents said they were so frightened about the reaction that they were packing up and leaving their homes temporarily. Some black Craig Ranch residents called for sharp action against the police and held two protests Monday evening.

About 500 people marched from Comstock Elementary School to the pool where the incident occurred.

Speakers vowed that their city would not become another Baltimore or Ferguson, Mo., cities where shootings of unarmed blacks led to days of unrest.
