Still SMH.

Utah voted for the losers, Lyin' Ted and Bernie. So when the elections are held and Trump is running against Hillary, they won't know what to do. :roll

(I really don't have room to talk with what Texas did.)

Utah isn't a winner take all, right? Do you think Trump will get ANY delegates?

Utah IS a winner take all since Lyin' Ted got >50% :(
(try and keep up Molly) :cool

Lyin' Ted gets 40 delegates (as opposed to 20 or less)

As I posted at CTH...

Utahians!!! YOU HAD ONE JOB!!! :doh
(Keep Lyin' Ted below 50%)

I can't wait to vote for Trump! We still have a lot of people who blame Trump for Walker's early departure :roll . I have started reminding those people that everyone of us said that Walker was not a good national candidate. He is simply too matter of fact and slow mannered. Not that I'm not a fan of Scott, I am and I worked to help get him elected.

I was very disappointed in Scott when he dissed Trump when leaving the race.

H/T Sundance....

If Kasich dropped out according to Ohio election law all of his 66 delegates become bound to the second place finisher, Donald Trump.

H/T Just Scott CTH for a reference link

Quote:
Just Scott says:

Because of the talk about Ohio delegates going to Mr. Trump if Kasick drops out, I did a little research on what happens with the rest of the states. Almost all of the states unbind the delegates if the candidate is “out” or after a number of votes. Utah is the other exception along with Ohio.

http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P16/UT-R
Quote:
The national delegation shall be bound on the first ballot ... the delegation shall not be allocated nor bound on any subsequent ballots. ... If a candidate who was allocated delegates is not a candidate at the national convention ... then all the delegates shall be re-allocated and bound to the remaining candidates. [Utah Republican Party Bylaws 7.0.B]

As Trump has pointed out himself….

It is somewhat “unfair” to have the standard of a strict majority of delegates (1237) when there are 17 people in the contest. You can (for instance) have twice as many delegates as a distant second place person and still not have a majority of a large field of players (17)
I have said before, IMO the delegates WASTED on losers should at least be taken out of the equation. The overall total of delegates (and the half +1 number) should be reduced by the number of delegates thrown “down the toilet” when assigned to losers.
And more than that…. those wasted delegates (189 not including Katsick) SHOULD be reassigned to Real viable candidates.
