I imagine that the State could have turned to a lot of witnesses who would have a similar approach to this woman....

The "shrinks" that the defence came up with were really "scraping the bottom of the barrel" types... I doubt they had too many choices.... people prepared to do such shonky evaluations.

Dr. Janeen spent 12 hours on the clinical interview with #JodiArias which was a lot. She did additional testing on top of that.

Juan is doing his best to show how Alyce and Dr. Samuels were biased in their evaluation of #JodiArias.

Juan asks Dr. Janeen if she apologized to #JodiArias. She didn't see the need to apologize to anyone, it seems odd she says.

Dr. Janeen says the first thing she thinks when hearing of a 44 hour interview is that it then becomes therapeutic.

Sadly, I think the judge gave LaV the choice to be back either Monday or Tuesday and while it's confusing, seems she participated with the court yesterday over the phone (or there in person and then escorted out the back way) and everyone believes that quack is done as far as testifying.

She's very profession and I can only imagine her in 10-20 years!

I hope she is this quick and direct with the defense questions (probably Willmott?) to show this jury how a professional behaves on the stand and how a professional conducts evaluations.

I've read they went through 6-7 other professionals for the defense. I'm sorry, but NO ONE with even a modicum of integrity could honestly take this case to defend Jodi in any way.

So Dr. Karp was a major SUCKER?

Jodi reported a "SIGNIFICANTLY higher amount of incidents of ALLEGED physical abuse than she did to DeMarte (4), Samuels (4) and LaV (4)."

DeMarte says she "can't even COUNT how many incidents Jodi reported to Dr. Carp."

Dr. DeMarte administered a trauma sympton inventory (tsi) test to #JodiArias

JodiArias reported many more instances of physical abuse to Dr. Cheryl Karp than to Alyce, Dr. Samuels or Dr. DeMarte.

1:55 p.m. ET: DeMarte is explaining why she chose to give Arias certain psychological examines during her evaluation.

2:03 p.m. ET: DeMarte is explaining how it is possible to lie to PSD and invalidate on the test.

2:15 p.m. ET: Martinez is walking DeMarte through how Samuels scored the PSD test. Samuels testified he rescored the test multiple times. DeMarte said she has no idea why someone would need to rescore a test like the PSD three times if it wasn't scored correctly or if somone was trying manipulate the data.

2:11 p.m. ET: DeMarte says there is multiple issues with the PSD Samuels administered to Arias and that is is why it is invalid.

2:09 p.m. ET: Our producer in the courtroom says the jury has not submitted any questions for this witness so far.

2:05 p.m. ET: DeMarte said if Arias lied about the triggering traumatic event on the PSD it proves nothing other than Arias lied on the test. The attorneys are now at a sidebar with the judge.
