No idea about Jodi's diet... why do you ask Jordan2?

Wroughhead and Berta.... I don't do twitter either :95

But..... you can just read what people tweet. And I will be posting updates from twitter here. There are also "Live Blogs" which update every few minutes or so... so lots of sources to follow the trial in real time.

HEAD'S UP!! Tonight is the Jodi Arias program on I.D. Here in OR, it will be on at 9 PM. Better check your paper?
That will be the first of their new series called "Deadly Sins". Maybe later, we can look on youtube.com
under "Deadly Sins - Jodi Arias", or just Jodi Arias to see a re-run of it. I feel badly for those who can't get it.
Maybe we can write about it?

I missed the JA episode last night on ID but there is a repeat today at 10 am C. I saw a short clip on their website and it looks like it may be more interesting than the "snapped" version. I watched the Snap show(s) and there were a few things that made me go "what?" "that's not quite right" I forget the exact details :( I mostly like this series so perhaps it is because I was interested in this case.

I often look at I.D. Better check each hour if interested. They had it on last night here in OR at 6 PM and again at 9PM. Woke up during the night and it was on 2 more times during the night!!! Once this morning too! Lesson to be learned here I guess, many do re-runs once something is on. Keep watching.

Often during the hour program, I saw the youngish, heavy female author talking. Maybe it's all from her book. AND most of what anybody knows (except forensic evidence) came from Jodi. Sky Hughes was on a lot, and her husband too.

They said her identity comes from the man she is with. Many had cheated on her before. Maybe all. WOW - how frustrating THAT must be when you TRY SO HARD ... surely damaged her ego, and might have made a self hatred thing, they said.

Travis was exactly WHAT SHE WANTED in ALL areas and thought she deserved it probably. She did everything humanly possible to "GET HIM". TRIED TO BE PERFECT!!! HARD!!! Even then, she didn't "have IT".

Many believe, and I do too, the HUGE FIGHT was when she threatened him about exposing that SEX TAPE that she trapped him into doing. SHE knew she was taping, he didn't! This must have been her plan "E", the slashing of the tires, the fake emails, didn't work. OR DID THEY? The girls broke up with him. WHO NEEDS THAT? She probably was going to share that tape with all girls he EVER dated, PLUS his CHURCH! She was taking EVERYTHING from him. Destroying his very life!! How could he concentrate on work? It's a wonder HE didn't kill her, not the reverse! :WW

She spooked around the girl's houses when he was there for a date, slashed their tires too, emailed them ... LORDY. She -- killed -- him -- before she ever butchered him with that knife!

We know ALL of this, but so scary to revisit and see - again. Interesting through the eyes of the different authors.

Updated today at 10:39 AM

PHOENIX --
After months of legal wrangling, a judge has finally set a date to retry the penalty phase in the ongoing legal drama that is the Jodi Arias murder trial -- March 17.

The trial began more than a year ago, ending four months later with the conviction of Arias on first-degree murder.

While the jury found that Arias is eligible for the death penalty, they were not able to sentence her to it.

The past several months have been filled with motions from both sides.

On Monday, Judge Sherry Stephens finally set a date to start the retrial of the penalty phase.

Wonder if they will throw another monkey wrench into that new date - postponing it even further?

She is afraid of the D.P.? I thought she said she would WELCOME IT??

What is she fighting for then?

Afraid to "get it" - but not afraid to "give it". Those KILLERS always have a double standard.

I think she was trying to use reverse psychology when she said she'd welcome it.

Did anyone notice that JA deleted some of her tweets? I am not sure how many cause I only check it once in awhile but the ones regarding her "survivor" wristbands are gone. Weird, huh?

Berta, maybe she has some new "advisers"? I hope she never, EVER gets out!!

How vicious... how insane that overkill, torturous murder was. AND he was just 30. A decent good guy, looked like who helped many!

HIS LIFE is HERS??? BELONGS TO HER?? What arrogance and gall these killer have!! UGH! They disgust me!

Joni, I agree, JA is evil, pure evil IMO. As if killing Travis wasn't enough she had to slaughter him, and then his "memory". He wasn't just a DV abuser, he was also a gay pedophile! It makes my blood boil, I feel so sorry for his family, like they didn't have a hard enough time growing up but then this too, It's just not right.

Berta, I hope the next Jury recognizes her for what she is too. Nothing but an arrogant, twisted, disturbed MONSTER -KILLER! Either decision is ok by me. Don't know which is worse... maybe the D.P.? Scare her like she did Travis! Disgusting mutant.

Jodi Arias defense costs top $2 million

Jodi Arias’ legal bills have topped $2 million, a tab being footed by Arizona taxpayers that will only continue to climb with a new penalty phase set for March, officials said Monday.
Arias, 33, was convicted of murder in May, but the jury couldn’t reach a verdict on her sentence. Prosecutors are now pursuing a second penalty phase with a new jury in an effort to get the death penalty. Trial is set for March 17.
The waitress and aspiring photographer has been held in jail in Maricopa County awaiting her fate while her legal bills continue to mount.
As of Monday, the county had paid nearly $2.2 million for her court-appointed attorneys, expert witnesses and other costs associated with her case, Maricopa County spokeswoman Cari Gerchick told The Associated Press.
Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery has refused to provide a tally of how much it has cost to prosecute the case, citing a court order that attorneys not discuss Arias-related matters

Ruling clears way for second Arias penalty phase
2/07/2014

PHOENIX (AP) — Jodi Arias will again face a potential death sentence after a judge’s ruling cleared the way for a second penalty phase in the case.

Defense attorneys had argued that the Arizona law allowing a retrial of the penalty phase is unconstitutional.

In her ruling made public Friday, Judge Sherry Stephens denied the defense motion. Arias’ retrial is set for March 17.
