Hi guys! Boy was I lucky and my good deed was rewarded - the elderly lady I was visiting in the hospital had her TV on HLN when I walked into the room!! So I was able to watch the "verdict watch" and even saw the actual verdict!! Couldn't believe they had HLN of all stations on their TVs!!

That look that Jodi gave the jury when they began to poll them about their decision - whew! Scary.

I have always had mixed feelings about DP. No problem with States doing it in extreme cases... but as I say it is YEARS of expense and also in a sense an "easy" option (one Jodi claims to favour, though I doubt THAT is true).
Having learned that Arizona (sheriff Joe) do really have a female chain gang.. and he has indicated Jodi will be on one.... I kinda favour that over the DP.... in this case,... worse than Death for Jodi perhaps?

Chain gang for all the years before the actual execution would be perfect... but that is not an option.

I wish Drew would shut his big mouth and let juror #8 talk. He seems cool from what little he can say. His name is Dan Gibb. sp?

What did Juror #8 have to say for himself? If you remember, I'd love to know! :89

I need to watch most of it on youtube. Are there any that have the sidebars edited out?

I saw a clip of Jodi returning to jail from court. She was in her stripes and shackled around her waist and looked like her ankles. I am looking for a picture. I saw the clip on Dr Drew's show.

Looks like the defense did try and withdraw after Jodi's interview.

Jury: Jodi Arias was 'especially cruel'
By Graham Winch
updated 6:43 PM EDT, Wed May 15, 2013

After deliberating for an hour and 33 minutes, an Arizona jury has found Jodi Arias guilty of being "especially cruel" when she murdered her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander.

Arias did not seem to react to verdict, and did not shed a tear. Arias' life is still hanging in the balance as the trial moves into the final stage, the sentencing phase.

During the sentencing phase, the jury will deliberate a third time on whether Arias will receive the death penalty.

He sounds soft spoken and nice. He was interviewed on the phone. He has common sense. I edited my post because I see the transcript is up.

Thanks so much for the recap, MBTB, and good afternoon, all! :69

That Dr. Drew isn't going to be happy unless he causes some kind of problem with this trial moving forward!!

While we're all so curious and want to know, it really wasn't a good idea for Dr. Drew to be having this guy on so soon, but I'm glad it seems many liked him on the show last night.

I think Joni is right about the nice State of Arizona! (I was there on a driving vacation trip and it is so different, such beautiful natural sites and the people very nice!)

The people here are very nice and friendly. Also helpful. I sure noticed a difference between the people here and the people in South Florida.

Even though I am liberal, I am very conservative when it comes to crime. Just wanted to clear that up. I don't talk politics with anyone here. I am a cactus huger. LOL
