Yes that's Donovon, Jodi's former cellmate...she sits beside Jodi's Mom and aunt every day in court. In fact she was on JVM tonight complaining that Jodi isn't getting enough sleep.

BTW Donovon was in jail on arson charges.

I've noticed that and IMO, the not guilty jurors are wanting to give the appearance they are smarter, more insightful than the others, they are clowns wanting to be perceived as the intellectual elite, their arguments are usually lame like they're not even tuned into the trial.

I can't see a hung trial, 2nd degree maybe but a female juror who relates to Jodi's relationship and stalking of an ex might be a problem. I can't believe anyone, even a person who was a victim of DV, would fall for Jodi's made up story or the testimony of these paid whores.

I've just never been interested in this Bryan Carr because from the sounds of it, he inserts himself into cases and goes all nutso over the female killer. But you are definitely right about Jodi moving on which makes me think that she felt she HAD to kill Travis in order to be able to "move on" from him - she's just not normal!

I can't imagine Jodi in a million years being with someone like that - but it shows the lengths she'll go to in or to maker her life a little easier.

On the outside, Jodi had only male friends because that is who she could manipulate for money, housing and other material things - women, typically, will not do that for you. However, in jail, that is all she's got to work with and in jail is where you can find women who can do things for you, provide for you.

Just when you think a judge can't get any worse (hello, Judge Perry), along comes this one. Yes, Casey did try to get out court appearances and was sick at one point, but surprisingly, Judge Perry said something to the effect of, "even if he had to get here there in a straight jacket, he would..."

For perspective, this case began the beginning of January, the State's case took 15 days (? I stand to be corrected) and the defense has taken up the rest!

I think I heard someone say Travis, with HIS sad background, could be a "victim" too ...

The Arias trial was supposed to start today at 9:30, but Judge Sherrie Stephens is still finishing up her morning calendar.

12:00 p.m. ET: Defense attorney Kirk Nurmi accused Juan Martinez of prosecutorial misconduct for taking pictures with his fans outside the courthouse. Nurmi wants a woman who appeared on HLN testify about how some of the jurors witnessed Martinez taking pictures with fans. Martinez argued it was not prosecutorial misconduct, because it did not happen in the courtroom.

12:50 p.m. ET: The judge is on the bench, and testimony should begin shortly
