Do Judges also instruct, "IF you find a witness lied about one thing you can discount everything else they say."? I thought I heard that.

Who goes first??? I mean Closing Statements?

Jodi Arias' defense attorneys are getting one last crack at trying to convince the jury that their client was in an abusive relationship and was forced to kill her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in self-defense.

Arias' attorneys have called psychologist and neuropsychologist Robert Geffner to the stand to refute psychologist Janeen DeMarte's testimony.

DeMarte testified during prosecutor Juan Martinez's rebuttal case that she did not believe the defense's argument that Alexander abused Arias. She also disagreed with the defense's assertion that Arias can't remember the details of the killing because she suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). DeMarte offered her own diagnosis of the defendant, saying that Arias suffers from borderline personality disorder.

The defense attorneys claim Martinez failed to present any evidence that Arias has a personality disorder in its case, and therefore they should be allowed to rebut the new evidence introduced during his rebuttal case.

Geffner testified Wednesday that Arias psychological test results support a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder instead of a personality disorder.

I just read that someone who was there tweeted - "Jodi's mother was sitting on the Court House steps with her face in her hands ... defeated." Hope that's a sign...

A day late and a dollar short Mrs. Arias. You saw ... you did nothing. Travis and family and friends ... paid. The world paid. He was a good human being - much loved by many.

Do any of you think that Dr. Horn's typo error will effect the jury? I'm a little concerned about that. Someone on that jury has a medical background to catch that.

I spotted it as simply not possible during the bumbling water spiller's testimony.

I ASSUMED that by "Dura Intact" the ME report meant "Intact apart from bullet entry and exit" I thought it might be a standard ME way of describing it, but not literally true. I accept Dr Horn saying it was a "Typo" because it makes no sense for the dura to be intact with a bullet entry thru the skull as a minimum one hole...

Wilmott was sewing the seed of doubt that the bullet skirted past the brain... or barely penetrated.... but even if that was true... the dura would not be intact with an entry wound at least still......it may effect Jury.

Personally... I give far more weight to Dr Horn's emphatically stated opinion than I do to the hired-gun/water spiller.

Live blog: Time to connect the dots...
By Graham Winch
updated 10:58 AM EDT, Thu May 02, 2013

After months of sometimes-gory evidence and shocking testimony filled with sex, lies and allegations of brutality, Jodi Arias is just days away from learning her fate.

The jury could begin deliberating as early as Friday about whether Arias is guilty of murdering her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander. Arias testified Alexander’s sexual and physical abuse culminated in a fight that forced her to kill him in self-defense.

After a marathon day of testimony Wednesday, prosecutor Juan Martinez rested his case around midnight ET.

If convicted of first-degree murder, Arias could face the death penalty via lethal injection.

Closing arguments are scheduled to begin Thursday around 12:30 p.m. ET. Watch every second of the dramatic end to this trial on HLN.

This is the absolute last chance the attorneys have to persuade the jurors to convict or acquit Arias.

Some attorneys like to save a surprise for closing arguments, because it's the last thing the jurors will hear before they begin their deliberations.

The jurors have heard a lot of testimony throughout the four-month trial, but the attorneys haven't always been able to explain the significance of the testimony. Attorneys commonly use the closing arguments to "connect the dots."

Closing arguments can also provide some of the most memorable moments in court, such as when O.J. Simpson defense attorney Johnnie Cochran coined the famous term, "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit."

10:57 p.m. ET: From HLN producer outside the courthouse. About 40 people are waiting in line outside Maricopa County
Courthouse Thursday morning, only to find out that the court only has 5-7 seats for the public and that the lucky few are being chosen by lottery.

Did the judge say the jury would get the case Friday after the closing arguments? Maybe they will work over the weekend. That would be nice.
