No one could understand why the defense fought so HARD to include this tape, as it seems detrimental to Jodi....seems the defense atty Nurmi wanted only snippets (there was one in particular of Travis commenting how hot Jodi was, like a 12 year old girl). This would help the defense try to further bamboozle the jury into thinking that Travis was a pedophile (and somehow the killing was justified??). Anyway, this stems from Jodi's recent stories that she walked in on Travis in his bedroom pleasuring himself to the photo of a 5-6 year old boy. Then I think she switched it under brutal cross by Martinez on Thursday to computer image....

......but turns out that right before the proceedings that day, the prosecutor, Juan Martinez, went before the judge and vehemently argued that the ENTIRE tape must be played, not just prejudicial snippets......thus the huge blunder by the defense because Jodi does not look good. This is also why Jodi was a wreck when she got up on the stand that morning - she had been crying a LOT.

Rumpole - Her cross on Thursday is a must see . How Sundance would LOVE to see O'Mara do what Martinez did!

Even IF he was a paedophile who viewed child porn.... that may (or may not) be a matter for a jury to decide.... and I doubt they would sentence him to 29 stabbings, a throat slit and a bullet to the brain. It was not Jodi's job to decide and administer that anyway,

Completely agree - all the sex stuff is irrelevant. I find it interesting that there are 8 men on the jury. I'd love to hear their thought process.

Jodi looks like she's crying for the first time under cross (quivering lips, chin and wiping eyes). Of course, after being grilled about her constant lying to the police. Prosecutor hammering on irrefutable facts that she must agree with.

Arias said she tried to kill herself when was in jail with a razor. She said she accidently cut herself with the razor, and it hurt.

Martinez: "Can you imagine how much it must have hurt Mr. Alexander when you stuck that knife right into his chest?"

Nurmi: Objection

Judge: Sustained.

But how will the jurors forget that one?!

So....this morning it was about Jodi's lies and the people she lied to. She even sent flowers to Travis' grandmother and said she "was sorry."
